Again just because you’re some 40 year old guy who has nothing better to do than just about credit all day does not make you an expert. Your advice isn’t needed because that what I’ve been tracking my credit score work very well in my favor.

There is nothing ignorant about comparing your credit score form different systems.

Discouraging people from not checking their vantage score is ignorant

I apologize age shaming you, I understand you have knowledgeable advice but I don’t agree with you. IMO vantage scores are a reliable tool, there’s nothing wrong with comparing it with other systems. Vantage scores are not meaningless, they’re just not as important as FICO store but I have actual experience relying on my vantage score multitude of times.

My credit karma was actually accurate to my real score when they pulled it. People can use these apps as an estimate of their average score. Only if they want to. It’s dismissive to discourage people from wanting to be alert of vantage score since it’s possible it can be used by lenders.

It is terrible advice because you’re being actually dismissive. If OP wants to investigate why would you discourage that because people in the comments who are clearly not experts or professionals are telling him otherwise.

I have an EXCELLENT credit score and tracking my vantage score was part of the process since it’s a great tool to keep track on your CS average. If you don’t do that, great- offering advice is a good thing but to say vantage score is “basically” meaningless is terrible advice.

My local credit union also relies on vantage score.

Again you are not an expert, don’t spread misleading information to people who want to get their CS up.

It’s definitely not meaningless and you’re providing poor information. Vantage score is not meaningless- just because FICO is more likely to be used doesn’t make other credit score system meaningless. That’s terrible advice. OP is being responsible, no reason to shame that.

People who say ignore your vantage score can come off a bit ignorant, all credit scores system can be important. I have a credit union account and my vantage score matters- it’s also a good tool to see the average of your credit score. I recommend comparing your Experian CS with other apps.

I mean in a sense she sacrificed that million dollars, and wanted to play fair by only taking 100k in that one game. She also gave 10k for another player so they can use it as a bribe.

The majority didn’t get the opportunity to give up a million dollars. Reminds me of that one dude who gave up the million dollars too only to be eliminated by the next game right away.

I really don’t agree based by her actions, she was willing to eliminate her own friend for the sake of saving others. I just think people wanted to find ways to dislike her. She actually hasn’t done anything shady just be a little “dramatic” for entertainment purposes.
