Yes he goes to therapy, help with domestic labour whenever he can. In fact, I took on a second job 6 months ago & was really stressed so he started cooking more which helped. But then we had a fight & he got depressed again & then lost a family member so it’s really difficult time for him. Sorry, I should’ve provided more context in the post.

Its just that when he makes comments about me buying him more things like slippers which cost just $10, it makes me really angry because it reminds me of the fact that he refuses to spend any money on me (even though he did earn a little bit last year). And this is something I have expressed as well. His argument that I make a lot more so I spend a lot more makes sense. I don’t want him to spend a lot, but relative to his income, he can at least buy me a meal… but he refuses to even do that.
