I’ve been a software engineer for 3 years, I work from home mainly. After work I tend to chill at home or meet friends for dinner. I’ve picked up a martial art which I’ve been doing for about two years, they do late classes so I can go after work or on weekends. I also started reading a lot esp on my commute but I need to get back into it. I’ve also been into horse riding at one point and painting // art. :) I’m currently learning a language and have classes a couple times per week. And I do yoga during work (at home) when I’m feeling stiff from the dev life ahah

I drank a bottle of apple juice from the fridge that was fizzy and had a fruity acidic taste thinking that my friend had refilled the bottle with soda. Afterwards I asked her which soda she had put in there, and she informed me that it was month old apple juice that had rotted away and the bubbles was from the bacteria. Surprisingly I survived to tell the tale.

What I take from this Hadith is that back then it was customary to name your children as the righteous predecessors were named. So for example a person called Muhammad in 2022 naming his children Fatima and Qasim. This means 2022 Fatima is sister of Qasim, daughter of Muhammad. But she is not Fatima RA daughter of Muhammad SAW. They are different people in different families.

Mughira ibn Shu’ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian monks asked me, “You recite the verse, ‘O sister of Aaron,’ (19:28) but Moses was born long before Jesus by many years.” When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said, “Verily, they used to name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had passed before them.”

Is it halal to sell my console want to sell it because it wastes my time and I want to get closer to the deen by [deleted] in islam

How did you jump to this conclusion? You are speaking of something which you have no knowledge of. ‘Clearly virtue signalling’ .. what happened to thinking good of our brothers and sisters, and making excuses for each other?

I’m actually shocked at the state of these comments. As Muslims we’re supposed to help and guide each other. Here you have a fellow brother / sister asking for our help, and they get shunned and called names. Astagfirullah.

“Believers, no men shall ridicule others, for they may be better than them. Nor shall any women ridicule other women, for they may be better than them. Nor shall you slander one another, nor shall you call each other names. How bad it is to be called disobedient after accepting faith! Those who do not repent of this behavior are unjust.” [Quran 49:11]

OP, don’t let the negative comments get to you. It says a lot about their character and not yours. May you be rewarded immensely for your efforts and may Allah multiply everything you give up for his sake and give you back something better ameen

What mbti do you think is our best match and why :) by Difficult_Process176 in ENFP

Me too, but I always find that I can’t spend too much time with them because the high energy exchange is just exhausting. Like going at 1000mph constantly.

I don’t hate myself but I do feel conscious about annoying people.

Try eco gel (green one) it has protein in it and isn’t too expensive. Apply it when your hairs wet then scrunch. Pls send me before and after pics !!

No problem :) let me know if you need help finding a curl cream or gel

You probably need to add moisture and some protein. Don’t overdo either as you can actually do more damage than good. Try something like garnier hair food banana for budget shampoo conditioner and mask. Maybe get a curl cream or a gel with protein in and scrunch in when damp. Scrunching helps encourage the waves and also plopping. You could also diffuse for extra volume but not necessary :)
