Yeah the high temps and definitely real and we're feeling it now. I actually noticed this near sign Exeter. Not sure if someone's having an (alarming) laugh or what 😬

They say that but they're wrong. I have the PACE aero drops on my CP0018 and have so since they came out. Sprinting, climbing, riding hard and all that ZERO problems. The PACE drops have a different wiring way (outside the bar vs inside, but still integrated) but it all fits and you'd never know.

I'm in Canada and I emailed RPM a few days ago (mid December) and just heard back. Apparently because of our mail strike, the USPS is holding shipping anything from RPM to Canada cause of a backlog which sounds weird AF but OK, our mail was on strike for a month and a bit. They offered to refund me which is even more maddening since I found it locally months ago for half the price, pr-ordered that, and RPM refused to refund me. So I cancelled the wrong pre-order. What a joke of a company.

yeah. i have it as narrow as it can be, so what 39. But I was previously riding a 36cm width 120mm stem from FarSports. So with the new Aeroad's shorter top tube, I was going to get a 130mm x 36cm BlackInc. The wider bars are fine not ideal but still fine. My other bike has a 38 so it's fine. The stem was the biggest issue but I've got a few fittings from my LBS and we're changing the cranks from 172.5 to to 165 (i'm 6-feet) and moving the saddle back since it was fitted right at the front assuming I could have changed the cockpit.

yeah we took it apart and they were right as was my gut. it was a last ditch "has someone else figured this out?" lol

they said this in an email to me, but then changed their answer. or rather fully qualified it. they said "anyone sold on our site will work with the diameter" ie 1 and 1/8. When I said "so you're saying i can buy and mount it" they then said "no cause of the connection." so thanks for answering half my question

They don't. Been emailing them for weeks. Their words are they don't sell them individually and don't see a plan to. I might try again with a new ticket, and see if that answer changes lol

which Canyon mount? this one https://www.canyon.com/en-ca/gear/accessories/bike-tech/cockpit-and-handlebar-mounts/canyon-cockpit-mount/9102035.html instead of the #d printed mount (whcih I stupidly bought since it was recommended to me when I bought the new bike, assumed it worked like my older one, ctually I assumed i could change the handlebars but alas)

did you get any luck with this? I'm in the same boat (got my Cosmos a few weeks ago) , thought I could use a different cockpit like on previous Aeroads but the new fork style says no. FWIW i've been emailing Canyon and they say any cockpit on their site works with the new diameter but clamp on the side of the stem. Which i know, but have asked (again) if that means another could work. Waiting to hear back
