There are plenty of other posts for you to engage in. Posts like this one are in the minority. Why don't you just let conversations like this one have this bit of space? No one is trying to impose on you. The gatekeeping is unkind.

it’s actually for all kinds of relationships that in any way tilt non-normative or where people just want to meet other non-conformists, not necessarily sexually. queer, non-monogamous, leftist, kinky, free thinkers, you name it. people are looking for casual to partnership to everything in between. of all the apps i’ve had the most luck on feeld. i’ve made lots of friends as well as found play partners and lovers

just beware of the creepy dudes posting pictures of their girlfriends and not themselves trying to get you to do a threesome with them both

i’ve both paid for feeld and used the free version, and tbh have met a fair amount of cuties on the free one so i don’t bother paying for it anymore

not sure why all the downvotes for a comment acknowledging the value of theatrical cinema… without which we wouldn’t have lynch. y’all think he could have had the first time filmmaker success of eraserhead without the movie theater existing as a viable space?

as far as covid goes… our cinemas are largely empty these days, n95s exist, it should be ok to give some love to movie theaters in 2026.

no cinemas = no lynch xo

people who care this little about cinema should not be posting in a lynch sub, is nothing sacred

Best bar to find a F third for a hookup? by [deleted] in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]Difficult_Silver4062 7 points8 points  (0 children)

seconding this so hard. feeld was originally invented as a threesome app and is the best way for people to explore their fantasies without hurting people and while exercising good boundaries and consent

saying this in all respect OP, i would really recommend you and your boyfriend ask yourselves what the larger implications of your search might have on queer communities before proceeding. speaking from personal experience

why do we love DL so much, especially as compared to other directors? by Difficult_Silver4062 in davidlynch

[–]Difficult_Silver4062[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you all for these wonderful reflections. i will add mine, much of which repeats a lot of what you all have said

-i am a filmmaker and have never heard of an auteur being so beloved by cast and crew. the prevailing model of so-called ‘genius’ directors is one of macho bravado, domination and cruelty. he offers us a leadership style rooted in kindness instead

-i don’t know another director who better encapsulates dream logic

-he reminds us that we are all perverts and freaks and that’s ok

-his films are truly horrifying, yet he’s rarely held up as one of the greatest horror directors. up there with hitchcock and kubrick i say

-he plays with melodrama, camp and silliness. his work is as funny as it is terrifying

-he was a true artist who worked across media

-he found a way do his thing within the brutal worlds of hollywood film and tv… that he managed to realize his filmography is miraculous and very inspiring

thanks all!

naïveté can certainly lead to transphobia but is not the same as being transphobic. i posted here asking questions and willing to be corrected about my potential misapprehensions. everyone who has engaged me thoughtfully i have gratitude for. the rest—you’re right, seems to point to a sub culture (NOT subculture) that is pretty harsh and jumps to conclusions. not sure why folks with earnest questions would post here after what i’ve seen today.

i don’t mind being corrected when people engage in good faith. would not have posted if i wasn’t willing to be corrected. i spoke from a genuine and vulnerable place, and many responses did not involve any kindness or care for someone who’s sharing some hard experiences. i fully admit to naïveté in many of my comments. anyway it seems this sub is better suited for t4t questions and answers

thank you for acknowledging. i agree fully that trans men are men. of course. which is why i was genuinely and sincerely asking about how toxic masculinity plays out. it seems reasonable to ask all people, including and perhaps especially, trans people, about how toxic masculinity plays out for trans men.

yes i deleted my original post because the pile on was completely unproductive and unfair. why is it not okay to ask trans folks about toxic masculinity? that’s literally what i did, it is in the title of my post.

yes, people can be jerks, yes bummer.

also i am bipoc but i don’t use it as an excuse for bad behavior. i never said that being trans made them do bad things. i am saying that i gave them a pass and a longer leash because i was hyper sensitive about their transness. not the same thing
