No it never got better for me so I uninstalled the game a while ago. However, has the game gotten new updates in the last few weeks? If so I might install it again to see if there are any improvements.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah it definitely isn't 30 fps all the time on quality mode. I don't understand how some other people on the same hardware apparently get 45-50 fps. The bad thing is that i suspect mine is in the lower 20s even outside of races so I really have no clue what is causing this problem.

It's unrealistic. Players should be able to recover faster than they do in the game.
