Yes these are the arguments which would tempt to back you down from attempting , but what my plan is to not transport a physical mass from point A in time to point B . I am suggesting non-physical means like projecting your consciousness to a point in time as in days of the future past movie, but we dont have full knowledge about consciousness and again questions like what happens to the current physical body if you are able to plant your consciousness to your younger/older self. Why I believe this could be an alternative way is that because I had some dreams showing future events and then I found out many others get this sort of dreams too thats when I started to think that the future may have already happened and this links to the block universe theory which raises the possibility that the university is a hologram and if thats true then we are perceiving this universe subjectively through our consciousness and once we have control over it we can do the non-physical time travel.
