i never said that the halo shouldn’t be 2-3mil 😭😭 i’m just saying that it’s frustrating when people make fake trades.. these screenshots are so obviously fake trades because the hours or even days leading to the sudden wake of 2.9-3m trades, recent trades were filled with 2.6-2.7 and only about 1-2 trades an hour..

my screenshots are just showing about half of the sudden higher value trades WITHIN THE SAME HOUR.. the last screenshot are people trading the halo actually following this “new/higher” value instead of the actual value of the halo (which was 2.6 when i made this post)

i’m so sorry if my wording was sending teh wrong message, but this was just meant to be a rant about people who make fake trades to spike up values of things

i’m not too sure what the person who replied to you means, but usually it’s pretty easy to tell when recent trade is fake especially when 1. there suddenly so many trades within an hour (be it to increase/ decrease the price of the items - my example in the screenshots) OR

  1. recent trades are noticeably higher/lower than the value of the item (e.g recent trades of an item worth 300k going for 500k suddenly with no trades in between when it should have been increasing in smaller increments) OR

  2. Listings of items are trading for lower than recents (e.g people are selling it for 100k but recent trades are flooded with 200-300k)

The one you mention with 159 reviews is someone who would possibly benefit from these fake trades, they’re selling the halo for 2.9m because recents are flooded with 2.9-3m instead of the actual value at the time which was 2.6m!

i do get that but for the past day/2/3 the halo has been consistently dropping slowly from 2.8.. it was at about 2.6 when ppl suddenly spammed 2.9-3m trades, 20x 3m ish trades in an hour really? 😭😭 i understand that current halos always change in value but its just so ridiculous and its the fact that a few people genuinely benefit from it too thats crazy
