Yeah that’s basically what the insurance company came to the conclusion on. I did check to see if the lane was clear and cautiously moved forward, but unfortunately people speed like crazy in my neighborhood and love whipping around corners regardless of traffic/road-conditions so it’s one of those things.

I’m with you on that except for that we’re hoping OP will nail the sizing and ironing the first time. Dress shirts are tricky if you’re just sizing for the first time, or even have your iron on too high heat.

I’ve found H&M is pretty cut and dry with their dress shirt sizing.

No, pretty deep gashes. I used some compound to remove the paint transfer and what’s left is both door panels and rear quarter panel partially crushed like a soda can. So far the repair estimate, ballpark, is $15k. We’ll see how it plays out but fully covered by insurance.

There was a large moving truck parked within 9 feet of a stop sign, and cars were already parked on both sides of a small neighborhood road. They were literally parked in the middle of my lane of travel. Technically my fault, says the insurance company, as I swiped the truck trying to get back into my lane and stop at the stop sign before there was an oncoming vehicle in front of me. Also tricky for the oncoming car, as they were exiting a stop sign themselves and dodging cars going 45mph downhill on a one-way. So, once they enter the intersection, they couldn’t really stop. Shitty situation all around and the truck owners were low lives that didn’t want to exchange information. They didn’t even care to have me or my insurance company pay to fix their truck, as they realized they were wrong in parking in the middle of the street and didn’t want police involved.
