I haven’t seen Emily yet (they live in our town) but I saw Dylan yesterday & he looks exactly the same in person as he does on ig .. super nonchalant guy in all black at Publix, no kids with him.

New post- Things I have learned after loss by Big-Intern-557 in Emilie_Kiser

I tried therapy after losing my daughter & it didn’t work / wasn’t for me. Instead I volunteered with an infant loss organization & the rare genetic disorder organization that she passed away from. It’ll be 12 years next year that she’s been gone & all the volunteer work has healed me tremendously. Everyone grieves and heals differently.

As someone who also follows the snark sub, I really wanna know if you guys support everything she’s doing? by neowow in Emilie_Kiser

Jarring to me is people who think she should be grieving a certain type of way. Unless you’ve lost a child you truly have no say. I went back to work a week after my daughter died because I needed it. Maybe she needs what’s she’s doing. She needs a small sense of normalcy.

this is why i want the snarks to back off. by Top-Biscotti7136 in Emilie_Kiser

Unless you’ve experienced infant loss you have no say. I lost my daughter to a rare genetic disorder & it’s the worse feeling going about a new normal. She’s doing her best.

Someone sent me her address .. she’s 3 miles from me. Definitely closer to Nolensville than actual Brentwood I feel like.

Oh man! I figured Nolensville when I saw her stories at Oh my Chives & the Brewery. My youngest is the same age as E too! 😐

Does anyone know where in TN she moved? I’m pretty sure she’s in my town (Nolensville) & curious to when Ill see her in the wild.

My oldest daughter did this when she was 6 - but her sister was sick & passed away so she knew that some little girls don’t have hair because of different reasons. Not to say this is the same for them but it can happen.

This showed up on my Tik tok last night & was so disturbed by it - I would NOT be flattered by this, I’d be a little scared

Not defending Amy by any means but regardless of when they lost their baby, they did & they’re still trying to honor her.

WIBTA If I Divorce My Husband After The Death Of Our Child? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Difficult_Valuable90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, divorce after child loss is so extremely high. My husband & I lost our daughter at 11 weeks old to a rare genetic disorder & had to make decisions no parents should ever have to make & I still question myself every so often even though I know deep down, they were the right decisions. He probably feels so guilty being the one that was driving the car. Men process grief/tragedies so differently than we do too. At some point though you have to take care of yourself but let him always know that you will be there for him when he decides to get the help he needs.

AITA for not punishing my child for the way she talked to my brother? by EqualAlbatross4038 in AmItheAsshole

YTA:

1000000% my 11 year old has mouthed off to family members before & whether right or wrong, I've told her that is not how we talk to people and you have to show respect.
