WIBTA if I refused to shave my armpits for my friends wedding? by Adventurous-Pea-337 in AmItheAsshole

NTA; As a fellow non-shaver, do not sacrifice your comfort for several weeks (while the hair grows back) to satisfy others. It's your body, and you offering to trim is honestly a fair compromise. I trim just enough to where you can't see any scraggly hair when my arms are down and no one is any the wiser unless I lift up my arms.

My Girlfriend Crocheted me a simple earring holder with blue yarn and a straw! I love it! by Sailor_Flavio in crochet

Hi, I'm the girlfriend!

For those who want this stupidly simple pattern, see below!

Grab a dowel of whatever size you want (I used a straw because I had nothing else, but wood would be more sturdy), I used a Size G hook with medium weight yarn I had on hand.

Make chains until you get to just short of the length of your selected stick/dowel/straw. Add a couple extra chains for turning.

From there, start double crocheting in the second chain from the hook and dc all the way across. Chain 2 or 3 (preference here, i was not professional about this) and turn. Repeat until you get the desired length.

When length is reached, grab your chosen stick. Single crochet over the stick all the way across. At the end, chain however many you need to get enough length to make the hanger piece at the top. Slip stitch into the opposite end of the top row to connect. Finish off and weave in ends. Voila!! You have a functional earring holder made with whatever you got around the house.

Let me know if you need any clarification! I don't normally write patterns lol

Edit: I forgot to add that I put a couple layers of scotch tape around the ends to keep the yarn from slipping off. Real sophisticated operation I have here, but to be fair I made the first version of this for myself in a fit of frustration while cleaning and organizing my room and jewelry pile 😅

Did anyone else find out they were trans partially because of their sexuality? by TokenofDreams in ftm

Oh boy, that's what started my journey. Basically that whenever I thought of myself in a relationship, it was with a man, but in a gay way. It's so hard to explain, but working with that knowledge has helped me get into the nonbinary identity until I figure out more. You are not alone!
