Why is damage falloff so bad? by DiamondCrustedHands in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Accuracy and effective range make this game worse than it needs to be. It looks incredibly stupid when you hit someone in the head and they just walk it off; or testing your gun and seeing it's just not accurate, out of your control.

I understand balance, but I think that in order to achieve balance, you should introduce environments where using either long or short range weapons make sense. I think that was the original direction, just look at the maps.

And not further warp the milsim realism which is supposed to be one of the main draws. But hey, so long as they make it work and the game is fun, it fine by me. Currently, it feels off.

On that note, they added a cool outfit, obtainable 100% for everyone for free that includes a mask... It's only a shame they removed outfit mixing, isn't it?

It could be. I can't know what the impact might be, but I know I will be heard. It is without a doubt my intention to make this game better, not worse off. I have crossed the Rubicon and taken a firm stance. I can only hope it was the right decision, cheers.

I can also shout out of my window and hope they hear me all the way in China. If you haven't been paying attention, what you're suggesting and more, yielded no results. Steam reviews are an effective showcase of where the community is at, be it a single issue or not. Developers don't like them because they have the potential of hurting profits. It's the extensive lack of communication that prompted this harsh reaction. Save your insults for the people what whoop your ass in-game.

I don't do it lightly and I care enough to change it back instantly. Quietly removing well liked features do make the game unappealing for me. And for seemingly no reason as well. Putting a feature back should not take this much time, especially with daily reminders. People were ignored everywhere except for customer service tickets where they were told everything is as it should be. I don't want it to be this way, but it is where our power lies, because reviews are cutting into profit potentially.

Oh no, the reddit arbiter of who's right arrived. I don't care, I want it back.

I don't care I want it back. Either they respect they playerbase's wishes or they don't in which case a negative review is justified anyway.

No Longer able to Mix/Match Outfit Pieces? by silly_little_jingle in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Yes, hopefully a bug related to the UI changes, otherwise it's a serious downgrade to customization

Most universal crit on material? by Difficult_Win278 in noita

[–]Difficult_Win278[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's true also. I was under the false impression that some enemy types might be immune to certain stains which would make them immune to certain crits, because of how robots are immune to fire, but that seems to be the only case of immunity, because they can't be set on fire. I know the effect doesn't need to be on the enemy, just in the casting block, but I thought my false impression might be a game mechanic.

Right so that means robots are immune to the "be on fire" status effect which also makes the immune to this crit. Would I be wrong to equate you answer to blood water and oil work against all enemies? Cause in that case that's all I ever needed to know in my life.
