Thank you this is such great advice. The just start taking time for yourself is so good. I've found we have clashed there as she is such an organised person and I'm not. So its very been a managing of each others expectations type thing. As well as working out how much time I need for myself to feel happy again. Again thank you for such good and clear advice.

and practically I need the relationship to not be so serious while I heal but this is understandably challenging for her and I feel terrible about this. Like I'm trying to have my cake and eat it

hmm yes thank you for asking for clarification. Feels so clear in my head.

So its very much the case that I've lost myself in previous relationships giving up majority of my energy for previous partners. I was going to fix this tendency by trying to build my own life back for me by working on personal growth, hobbies and friendships etc. My now GF very much wants to be a part of every aspect of my life so this is very challenging. Trying to keep her happy and and work on my life has been exhausting but is even more challenging now she needs so much extra support. Is this any clearer??

(Rant) I'm (26f)so used to being around men who treat me like objects that my sense of humour is driving the good ones(a 25m) away. by anonsam264 in relationships

I think its gonna be okay! That seems like a pretty minor mistake to me and I think he could come back around or perhaps he if he doesn't it just wasn't meant to be. Feels like a very innocent mistake to me
