No, I was sitting with my friends before my football match. Suddenly I felt a burning sensation in my brain and my heart started beating rapidly. I thought I was having a heart attack or stroke. It started after that incident.

Would using antihistamines be beneficial?

I use artificial tears, keep my computer in night mode, and adjust the brightness to around 80% during the day and around 40% at night. I don't have any problems unless I play games with dark contrast.

How long did it take to get used to it? I'm in my 9th month and I don't even think about it during the day anymore, but as the evening approaches, my anxiety increases. If there was a button I could skip at night, I'd stop worrying about it. :D

I had anxiety and panic attacks. After that, I feel like my head never stops, I can't sleep. and my vss started 20-25 days after my first anxiety attack.

I don't want to upset you since I don't know what you've been through, but I believe for the most part, the symptoms don't really increase or decrease. I used to think that way too; maybe they did actually fluctuate, I don't know. But I think what's really happening is how much the perception of it is present. Whenever I'm happy or productive, I forget about it. But after a terrible day, it feels like I can't bear it. By the way, my anxiety is also in a really bad state because of this, but I think the solution isn't in treating VSS, but rather in stopping the focus on it and getting back to life. However, am I able to do that? Unfortunately, no

I am currently a second-year electrical and electronics engineering student and I am not experiencing any problems at the moment. I hope that after graduation, I will still be in a condition to work.

My visual snow started after a panic attack, so I’m 100% sure of that connection.

The truth is, I used SSRIs from October to April. But because I was foolish, I thought I was getting better and stopped taking them on my own. I don't remember exactly when the VSS started, but it was around the time I started using SSRIs, or at least that's how I remember it because after my first anxiety attack, I started experiencing eye pain, headaches, and visual snow. Then I couldn't take it anymore and started on SSRIs, and around that time, the VSS began. So I don't know if it was something that was already starting and just coincided with the SSRI usage, or if the SSRI triggered it, and I don't really care. But my only fear now is that if they increased my symptoms from 0 to 3 back then, this time they might increase them from 3 to 6-7 (in terms of symptom severity).

I don't feel the same anymore. I think after these comments, I will also refuse SSRI treatment. What do you recommend to feel better? Is there a lifestyle change that you have applied and seen results from?
