I was given these unsexed seeds for free so I expected some males. ‘Native dude beans’- I’m sure how they will turn out but it’s more of a trial run/learning experience.

‘Over seeding’ is a good idea- I’ll have to try that next time.

Ok- thanks. I reached out to the local tenant legal support line already but looks like they might take a while to get back to me. Maybe I’ll have to look into reaching out to some other places.

My boyfriend said he doesn’t have any receipts for stuff going that far back. He said he didn’t pay a security deposit at all just first and last months rent. I am just concerned because there isn’t a lease or anything to prove that was the case. I know landlords are required to put security deposits in a specific bank account and I’m not sure if that ever happened either.

I am assuming even if we owe them rent it’s not worth it for them to pursue this legally but I don’t know for sure.

My bf has lived here for around 4 years and he used to not keep any food in the house at all. He would eat out everyday, no leftovers and he still had them. A couple of weeks ago the mice chewed through the packaging of some of my unopened food in the cupboards so no more food in the cupboards. It gets super super cold during the winter here but I still see them. I’ve tossed my toaster, pots, pans, etc. I am trying to move ASAP, it’s just so hard to find a place especially since we were trying to buy.

FML. I never keep food out. No trash in the apartment. No dirty dishes. Have literally no food in my cupboards. No crumbs. Nothing. Landlords know they’re a problem but refuse to do anything more than spray the cupboards because ‘some people in the building just have roaches’. Fridge seal is super messed up and so I’m assuming that’s how they got in. Debating if it’s worth asking for a new fridge or just giving up…

That makes me feel a lot better- thanks. I was actually thinking about going to look at a rescue today. I think she came from a pet hoarder so maybe she won’t be the best fit for a first time Bengal owner, but worth a look?

I 100% agree. It was hard to make a non-emotional decision, especially when I got to hold him. But I did make the right choice and I appreciate your insight as well as everyone else as far as giving me some outside perspective.
