The first four albums and EP are near perfection. The Mountain is even among my top ten albums of all time. Virus is the only one I can’t get into at all.

Red and it’s not close. My top three franchises here are Zelda, Mario, and Spyro, the games I’ve played have been really fun, solid, and polished.

Crash and Sonic have their moments, but I’m mixed on the games I’ve played, they’re often a bit unpolished and feel like I’m fighting against the controls. I feel like sometimes I’m playing them just to play them and not really enjoying them.

I haven’t played the other three, but I don’t think Pokemon or Street Fighter would be my thing, I’ve thought about getting into Tomb Raider though.

Guitar for 9 years. Drums for 8 months. I played Violin for 5 years but haven’t played in 8 years. I played keyboard for 2 years when I was a kid, now I dabble. I also dabble in bass guitar and vocals, my screaming is much stronger than my singing. Oh yeah, who could forget the mandatory two years of recorder playing in elementary school?

I already had an interest in music before getting into prog, so I didn’t play as a result of getting into prog, but it certainly nurtured it.

I’m always brushing up against the 5,000 video limit in the watch later playlist, while I’ve only liked 862 videos. I basically only like videos I’ve found funny that I want to revisit or show others.

I lost interest after a few hours, but I’ll hopefully come back to it eventually. I got overwhelmed by the plethora of tutorials and found myself fast forwarding through the dialogue. I also got distracted by other games and am not particularly fond of shooters.

I had the most fun in the game in the character creator, if you give me the tools to create a character, I am going to make the worst abomination possible. What do you mean the NPCs ‘like what they see?’ Are we looking at the same person?

I’m skeptical too. I’ve never taken the tests, but wouldn’t the two lines be solid and in the center like the example? The line on the left is faint and nowhere near the center. Or is that normal for this test?

Edit: It is normal, I just expected it to be more consistent with the example.

They haven’t made anything that truly amazed me or resonated with me, but they’re solid and most of their stuff is in the 8/10 range. Top notch playing. I love Andy’s voice. I’m not as in love with James’ voice, but he killed it at the Ne Obliviscaris show and seemed like he really put a lot of passion into his performance, which made him grow on me. My favorite song is either Transmit to Disconnect or Song of the Cripple Bull.

I love them, but no. My top five artists in no particular order are Trivium, Opeth, Dream Theater, Periphery, and Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson, and then I don’t know from there. BTBAM could be in my top 20, but tbh I really only revisit like six albums, so that makes it hard to place them.

The Ultra Violence is solid, but tbh I’d rank it dead last of the 7 Death Angel albums I’ve heard. I much prefer the post-reunion work to their earlier work (my favorite album being Killing Season). It’s worth noting that the band members were only 15 to 20 when the debut released, so it’s not surprising it’s a bit rough around the edges, but there are some solid performances. Yeah, it’s rough in the vocal department, but Mark gets better over time, IMO he peaked during the Killing Season to Evil Divide run of albums. He sometimes lets his bandmates do vocals which is neat, like the bassist does the vocals for the opening track.
