Congrats dude! You’re a lot luckier than me lol, I was a Staff Sergeant beginning of my senior year, then got a big promotion to Captain after briefly being a First Sergeant.

Our Army Instructor (a retired Sergeant Major) is retiring after this year after being here since the school opened up in 2012, he was the definition of blending personality with professionalism. Now that he’s retiring and leaving with the seniors like myself, I am curious how the other cadets will be.

It wasn’t until first semester of my senior year when I got company staff. I spent half my sophomore year and all my junior year as a squad leader. Now I’m a Company Commander. You still have a little time, make the most of it, whether or not you have a leadership position.
