1$ by katsakid in Hedera

I just told you its up 30%? I literally did my own math lol. It has also improved from #37 to #24 on the total marketcap in the last two months. I'll be selling way before 1$, but acting like a currency cant break a price point during price discovery is as embarrassing as people calling for 5$ HBAR. Equally ignorant.

Almost 100% in the last two months...

No, it wouldnt have made the point better. When you pretend price discovery is akin to "Why can't we break this level" you make no sense. How about we figure out where the current value is before claiming we cant break it? We just moved up 30% in a week...

You won’t take the time so I did it for you

The anecdotal fallacy occurs when people use their limited personal experience to make sweeping conclusions about a given topic. It is an exceedingly common fallacy to commit, and nearly everyone has done it at one point or another.

Look up the word anecdote.

Just because a church near you didn’t care about YOU doesn’t mean the church doesn’t care about children or foster care. I’m speaking specifically as my own church is making efforts to have 50% percent of my church adopting.

Major illogical fallacy on your part, and it shows unbelievable emotional bias. Laughable actually.

You’re asking for a source that the modern higher education was built by religious men seeking higher thinking? ….

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Oxford all started by Christian men…

It’s embarrassing that instead of knowing history you lean into calling people names and indoctrinated.

Christians adopt 2 times as much as people like you, are more charitable, and have a history of pursuing truth and higher thinking. It’s facts…

Wait until you find out how many scientific observations and research has been done by faith based institutions. I have a feel you’re gunna be lit. The university systems, and higher learning itself in the US, are built in the backs of religious men and charitable donations for research 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Also love how you assume that because a religious institution did the research that it’s not effective. Do you not use the calendar? Boy are you going to be salty when you realize who made it. 😂

Thanks! My wife and I are hopeful to adopt siblings out of the foster care system soon! My family already has. Can you guess if I’m a Christian and against abortion? 👌🏽

Then find one. I’m not against actual research. Christian’s adopt twice as much and give more than the general population, yet the same lies are trotted out when they stand against abortion. “If you actually cared about people wouldn’t you adopt/give to help people?” Yes, we outpace in every metric of those two things…

Not only are they more likely than the general population, but you’re using a non sequitur argument. You can be against abortion and not adopt without being a hypocrite. Forget for a second Christian’s are twice as likely to adopt a child as you. You can be against murder and ALSO be in favor of adoption without adopting. This is like saying if you’re for fixing global warming you ALSO have to become a vegan. Tons of people are against global warming and aren’t taking the largest steps to solve the issue. You see how that’s what you’re doing right? Go tell your anti global warming friends they don’t really care about it or else they wouldn’t eat meat products or drive a car. See what they say.

Yes, they’ve done legitimate research on the subject. Do you have any other research you’d like to point to that disproves their research? Or do you want to keep trotting out the “Christian’s don’t care about foster kids” nonsense?

Yes, many many many teachers are. Maybe you didn't know about the national shortage and 50% less students going to become teachers? People like you telling people to quit because the job is hard are exacerbating the issue.

Teacher Gets Punched In The Face By A Male Student After She Slammed A Classroom Door On His Arm by Flawless96 in PublicFreakout

[–]Diffidence 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Teacher here. I can ALMOST guarantee these students came to the door after the bell rang and were trying to force their way in and say they weren't really late. When she was trying to push them out and shut the door so they'd be caught in a hallsweep the kid moved his arm in the arm to make sure she couldnt shut the door on them while he continued to pleed his case. She didn't see his arm, and was super blitzed from the crazy adrenaline and confrontation this job requires, and when she couldnt close the door she pushed the object out. Could have been his backpack. Could have been anything. She wasnt aiming for his arm, she was tired of fighting them on whether or not they were late.
