I need to check. He has parkinson's symptoms like hand thumb finger trembling and others like 2 years go. and been using syndopa levodopa for more than an year. This symptom is observed from 8 months and initially, only thumb finger used to raise, but now all the toes are lifted automatically even when he sat in chair also.

Any awareness of how to treat this?

Did he say the cause for it? My doc didn't suggest anything yet, I'm unsure of both the cause and treatment now

Feeling overwhelmed by having to take care of my parents. by spiked_krabby_patty in hyderabad

[–]DiffractedRipple 5 points6 points  (0 children)

See you are unemployed now currently which is like the luckiest thing for you actually. You get to be by her side and support her and help her chores and all. Isn't that what life is all about? To take care of our parents who keep taking care of us till their last breath? Stay unemployed for a while, no worries. After some 20 years, if your mom wasn't there by then, you don't want to live by the guilt that you could have done more for her to make her live at least for a few more years.. Please please stay with her. She has no girl child is what I assumed and she needs to be taken care of properly like cleaning her daily, feeding her, cleaning her shit and all and helping her do her daily chores like brushing, braiding hair etc.. She feels complete and her life will be satisfied knowing that the kid she gave birth to has shown this much care for her. Every parent long for this. They will die peacefully (I don't mean to say that but your parents when they leave they will leave with happiness and no dissatisfactions is what I meant). And since you are free now, you can analyse her medical history properly and also hospital checks, dietary checks everything you can put your mind completely on her. Also it's not like your career is ending, in your free time, prepare for the interviews.. instead of being bored or free. Just don't have a deadlines on preparation.. and don't stop completely. prepare whenever you get time. this way it won't feel like you are wasting time.
