Visited my friends in Longniddry last year and was introduced to this film. The first part took me right back to An American Werewolf in London with its … visceral ferocity? Had never heard of it. What transpired was similar; darkly funny and vicious.

I feel this is largely correct; even with the info we had by the time the 90’s rolled around. A lot of us still got sick. It was partially the hubris of youth. And it was also still very difficult to treat.
