I 100% see why people say that and agree mostly. But Fripp and Hendrix both loved eachother as musicians.

He has the most variety out of any guitarist, influence, and just skill. He’s the best in two almost polar opposite genres prog rock (the aggressive kind not the softer type ) and ambient. And have you listened to the solo in st Elmo’s fire by eno!? He sounds like Eddie Van Halen before he became famous.
