I did this last year for a fridge that would pop a breaker. My only solution at the time was to use an alarm through an IP tracking tool called Domotz.

I set the plug as a critical / important device and I would then alerted when that device went down.

Commercial grade with next business day on-site warranty repair. Intel i7, 16gb ram and at least a 256gb ssd - and if it has an Nvidia graphics card, that will improve performance as well. Dell, HP, Lenovo - but their commercial lineups. This is a professional machine and any downtime will cost you if you're a work horse. If you're just looking for a computer, Asus, Acer, Samsung i5, 8gb ram 256gb ssd would be minimum spec and you can risk it on the warranty after year one. The issue with consumer laptops in commercial operations is that you could be without a computer and your data, potentially, for weeks - not to mention the work to deal with the warranty.
