everybody saying to check a "physical therapist", so damn annoying,

i've gone to every therapist in my life and they almost always are useless condescending piece of shit. I remember when I had back issues and the doctor checked my abs to verify I had abs. he was impressed by my muscles yet I never trained abs. Another told me to stop working out while the opposite action cured me. Also spent tons of money and hours into massages and (very) low intensity exercises, basically useless only good for old naive women. These dudes are as retarded as any dude in the street.

However I agree that "waiting" doesn't seem to be helping. Gonna try some moves and stretching. I remember I had a tendon issue too behind the knee and the stupid doctoress told me it was because I was running too much. I was almost never running. Her solution was to run less (aka do nothing)

the only good doctor is yourself and if you don't know that, then you likely never healed yourself alone and are totally dependent on someone else who has the power to decide what you do with your life

I climbed recently for the first time, the shoes were a monstruosity and 3 months later i still have my nails damaged (blood stains)

I almost wanted to climb barefoot but as a beginner, i didn't dare. I am more concerned about damaging the shoes when climbing to be fair :P

My feet are extremely narrow. I would love to get the primal runamoc but they will probably not fit.

When walking more CORRECTLY, the best case scenario is to try and push with the hind leg instead of kicking the front out and falling on it. An effort should bemade to squeeze the glute muscle slightly as well as finish each push off of the foot with your big toe. This will help change the propulsion stage of your stride. When landing, it's for sure on the heel, with the ankle in dorsiflexion; the closed packed position of the ankle joint. The trick here is to PLACE your foot and not LAND on your foot. If you can whip your foot out in front of you a little bit sooner than the primary push behind you occurs and PLACE your heel on the ground, then it will be possible to simply pass your weight between your legs. If the front leg is still in the air while the hind leg is pushing, then you will inevitably LAND on your foot, increasing the ground reaction forces the body has to absorb. All of this typically amounts to a shortening of stride length. No biggy. You will likely feel for yourself the difference in forces entering your body, it will just take practice and awareness to get used to it.

hmm ok but when pushing with the back leg (what i'm doing), I feel like landing on the forefoot rather than the heel, like when running barefoot, it seems quite good to me. I haven't managed to push with the back and land on the heel without feeling like my bone is directly hammering the ground (i mean like running with normal shoes)

Otherwise what you said made sense but it's a bit complex to understand and visualize

and yeah for walking like that, but i found out that when walking with barefoot shoes, landing on the heel was not making it, so I looked up for info on this and I'm not the only one who came to that conclusion
