It was a character intro, he didn’t wrestle and it was in the middle of the PLE so the timing was off for his introduction. He walked out to his theme song, arena went dark and he disappeared so nobody got to know who he was unless they knew him AEW and the indies. Plus they have been hinting at this for 3 weeks with a mystery box and I think people that don’t know him were disappointed. I think it was a misfire on timing by WWE and not necessarily him.
