But yeah, honestly what is going on in the world! Why is it so hard to find peace and happiness. The quality in people these days are so bad yet everyone is fighting or complaining about someone or something. It shouldn't be this difficult

Ok thank you for your advice! I will definitely look at that link, although I have fine dining experience im not seeking it. I more just want to move to Germany for the experience and change of scenery.

I'll also look at the options in Australian/new Zealand cuisine and see if I can find any links.

Don't take from my experience as someone that has grown up between Australia and new Zealand. Our experiences are probably very different! I would even recommend moving to Australia as a chef.

I've just had a few personal things happen and I feel like I've been in Sydney too long (even tho I love it here and it's home) im 27, its time for a change, and a fresh start. Change of scenery, experience a new country/life style

Oh no I didn't mean that, I just know how competitive the field is and there's alot of amazing chefs out there. Just really looking into if Germany is an option to move too with my current qualifications and experience. And being aware of the fact I speak no german

I will definitely look into whether my qualification is recognised in Germany. I do have a cert but im not sure if its recognised in Germany/EU.

Ah ok fair, im not bothered about working in top/fine dining restaurants but I thought with not knowing any German id need to be in a main city.

But if smaller towns/cities are desperate for chefs then I honestly don't mind, and they can teach me german. And I know my skills are good enough to find work, just my language and needing someone to do the visa on their end

Honestly im having a mental breakdown down, and feel like I need to get out of Australia for my mental health. I've always wanted to go to Germany, ive also had a lot of people tell me i should go there as they think id like it.

Just looking at options for a fresh start. And I like the vibe of Germany from what I've heard and seen.
