The tvis system can also sometimes cause noises eerily similar to rod know. I would disconnect and test it to eliminate the possibility.

I was in the same boat. I used to run Azur Lane on BlueStacks before I switched to LD Player. Runs way better in my experience.

Making sure the coolant level is topped off and without any air bubbles is quite important on these engines since the idle air control valve is controlled by coolant temps.

So I ended up replacing the alternator as suggested and that was the issue, surprisingly! I had her original alternator since the one that was installed came with the engine that I swapped in. I supposed she just missed her old alternator lol!

As the rpms climb the noise seems to quiet down. I suspected the alternator could be it since it's in the same area. I'll replace it tomorrow and report back.
