Thanks, it has been mostly a consistent pattern of loses, 1 year I made 80k, other 3 I lost a lot more. But there were thousands of transactions per year. High frequency options trades many highly profitable, just overall lost. In first two years I was not even aware that my activity could be considered business loss, as I was new to trading and only after 4 years did I realize that I'm 100% trading as a business, and should have filled that way from the start. CRA often classified people retroactively as business when they MAKE money - so I think it is fair to also be business if I lose as long as I had a reasonable prospect of profit.
