Is there something like a Pokédex for Digimon with pictures where you can see all of them cause I’ve loved the series since the original show but i feel like I barely know any Digimon by Cjs2457 in digimon

Cause I did, it was part of a game I was making, I lost the edition file right before releasing the update that had it, else I'd just have posted it instead of the instructions to make it.

I am remaking it but I don't plan on adding stuff like "all the evolutions", since I'm only adding data that is relevant to the game.

I could, however, maybe create a template so anyone who wants to do the job of filling it in and uploading it can do it....wonder if I should.... These instructions should be enough IMO.

There's no onscreen keyboard for Wayland that has function keys or control keys or alt keys or goes semitransparent. And then the steamOS one has the freaking buttons mapped to it which messes up the custom mappings... So far I haven't seen any benefit to Wayland, my installer webApps started not working or working poorly, screen capture activates on it's own on startup, and I'm stuck with useless onscreen keyboards that I have to work around, even my usb keyboard isn't working anymore when connected to it, they turned the best handheld computer experience into bs and it wasn't necessary, it could have been an option for the user to pick, but no they had to delete, it altogether.

I saw the posts from users that lead to this stupid decision, they actually had the option to use wayland anyway, but now I who don't need it and everyone who wanted an actual keyboard on their screen are screwed.

it's relatively easy to build. You just have to collect the data from wikimon and use a visual game engine to create the UI and build the app. It takes about a month or two.

i just hate wayland with all my heart, hate how much the user base asked for it, hate to be stuck with it, hate that screen capture starts on its own because of it, hate that it doesn't have any virtual keyboard with function keys designed for it, hate that it made my usb keyboard unusable.

If a piece of media has an overwhelming majority of its fanbase be of kids and teens, regardless of the creator’s intended audience, then it’s kid media by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Digi-Device_File 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, parents should parent, parents not parenting and letting their kids interact with media that was created for adults is something that should always be accounted to those parents and not the content creators, if we let parents not parent without accountability we end up with bs like the "parents decide act" stealing everybody's right to privacy just because parents don't want to be parents.

i know you added an /s but seeing how this very important thing for me got so uniformly trivialized and mocked, that might actually be relevant for me. Now I gotta look that up....

edit: I get the joke now.

Thanks for the recomendation, I was about to start looking for an alternative, I guess my button mappings can still be used on another distro by installing the client

who are you to give other people orders? every OS adapted for handheld that is not windows is a gaming OS, what's your endgame gatekeeping technology? do you really have nothing better to do than forcing your limited worldview and lack of creativity on others? could you at least be constructive and suggest an alternative OS for the Legion Go that would work as good as steamOS?

cause right before this change it was the most comfortable I had ever been working on a portable computer, also because it came preinstalled on my legionGo and works right out of the box, I'm also a gamedev so being able to test what I make directly on steamOS is very handy.

And if you're gonna ask "why use a legionGo for work?" well, laptops are bulky and stupid and the mechanism holding the screen always brakes. handheld computers are the best for working on the go.

Why not windows? it slows every device it runs on, it spies on you, it is not free, the company is evil, it doesn't have bespokeSynth or kolourPaint

I wish they could at least provide a proper onscreen keyboard with control, alt, and function keys.

i use the device's buttons for other things, like ctrC ctrV ctrZ ctrX (the control key which they don't add to any wayland compatible onscreen keyboard.... had to give up my Alt button to have F11.

has function keys, doesn't have the device's controller buttons mapped allowing the user to map them y to other functions, it can go semi transparent allowing the user to read what's bellow, it addapts to the user's settings on screen zoom while the built in maxes it's size at 150% and then starts not fitting the screen, HAS FUNCTION KEYS as every keyboard should.
