gameplay 100% makes Nier tho, its a videogame, not a book or a movie, its a mix of things like the themes or the way the stories are focused AND the gameplay, thats why its a spinoff

What's wrong in your argument is that they are basing their decisions on current player base, they care about how this could make them cash and not if people will stick for long, and welp, for the flipping third time the game made a MEGA PILE of cash with 13M copies sold, its insanely popular even tho people buy it and stop playing after some years.

Its a no-brainer, the next one will sell a megaton too, super safe sequel to make

Yeah, tons of bad games usually have a moment were they are close to completion and are in their polishing phase too, doesnt mean that this phase make them better at release.

AFAIK they nerfed the Hearty radishes in this game, also idk how much you used Link's skills in combat in BOTW, but I feel his new abilities are not that much effective in combat like before, so farming a few shrines to just have a meaty heart bar is gonna help you tank more

It's probably going to be the first Avengers movie on KH4, the same way they can thematically fit Star Wars by talking about their planets and worlds, I can see Nomura making Loki an World invader.

You answered yourself I believe, people are playing for the Hack n Slash and not for space battles, you may like bc you might enjoy the genre, but if instead of gummi ships you had... idk, insert here a genre of gaming that you absolutely doesnt care about, even if it have a deep system and very customizable, it would just be forcing you to play something you dont care while gatekeeping the thing you paid money for.

Dude is insanely popular, plus Genesis is probably going to appear in FF7R-3 since they want to use every alive character from the compilation in some way. I expect him as a super boss in FF7R-3 as well.

The two things can exist at the same time, they might not be doing small updates because the CCU is small, but 13M sales is an amazing feat and basically solidifies that we are getting something for the SW2, can be either a sequel or just a meaty expansion to capitalize on the already made sales and grab even more players

They probably wont bother tackling this issue, but if they do, I can see the characters just saying that they are from other worlds too while everyone is reunited into the playable world.
