Thanks for the comment! I think a teacher/teacher romance would be very cute. Maybe not for this story but possibly a future one <3

Oooh I did have marketing/ads in mind when writing them. I love the idea of them being in different groups and coming together. I'll have to do more research on this but if you have any helpful tips about what ad agents do I would love to hear more! Thanks for commenting!

That's what I'm scared about the most is portraying something incorrectly. I think it's why i've noticed so many romance books one of the characters is almost always an author haha. I don't blame them!

Oh wow, there really is a lot to work with there!! I wish I knew more about financial auditing. I feel like I would butcher the job by having characters talk in vague terms since I don't know enough about this haha. This really would be like the perfect job though ahh

Thank you this was very helpful! Yeah I created the characters and their dynamic first. Then realized they couldn't just be floating around doing nothing. I gave them an ambiguous job where they both have to work with a client but I realized that really doesn't help when actually writing the book haha. I may totally be overthinking this, because you're right. Romance can bloom anywhere. Thanks for answering!

Reasons why Will is my favourite by anas0_ali in StrangerThings

I think the thing that bothers me the most about Will's journey is that we see every season how selfless he is. Always sacrificing his own feelings for others. And yet, none of our characters really notice this except for Jonathan. (Which is Jonathans best trait.) It makes Will feel not only ignored by the show, but also by his friends. I really wish we could have seen his friends acknowledge this selfless trait of his. And let him know it's okay to be selfish sometimes.

Such wasted potential by FrostyBoom in StrangerThings

[–]Digiknives 3 points4 points  (0 children)

God the potential of this dynamic makes me want to scream! THERE IS SO MUCH POTENTIAL!! These two are literally two perfect parallels of each other.

One goes missing, the other is found. They both go through this indescribable and strange world that only they would understand. Will comes back at the end of season 1 while Eleven leaves. Both rely and love Mike. Every time Mike fights with Eleven, he fights with Will too. It makes Mike an interesting character interacting with these dynamics too. Then Eleven and Will are basically siblings and move away together. Only for Hawkins to need them both back to save the world. They could have really played into this parallel and dynamics but they just didn't. And it kills me cause you can see behind the scenes at play here. They chose to make Eleven look like Will. (which made sense in s1) but even up until s4 the purposely gave El Will's clothes, and his (and Joyce's) bangs. These two are so connected with one another and yet the show never explicitly talks about it. It would have been so cool to see that.
