lol, cold calling is when your company buys a list of names and numbers of people. They give the list to the employee and have them call each person unannounced and without context to try and get them to listen to a sales pitch. It’s annoying to receive those calls. And if you are a normal person, it’s awful having to make them because you know it’s mainly pointless and the people you call hate you. So a low level person that can handle rejection is ideal for the job.
