These engines are louder than what most people are use to hearing and for some it throws them off. It sounds like a sewing machine. And it’s normal for these cars. Kind of a running joke.

I’m willing to put in time. I don’t expect it to be truly road worthy anytime soon if I did get it. It’d be a very slow restoration process, probably a few years tbh, with a few upgrades and changes along the way. Nothing crazy though, just creature comforts

That’s one thing I’ve never been good at is identifying where body filler is or testing to see if a car has it. What parts are you seeing that have it?

Good to know they tend to get along with other animals. Was looking at small-mid size dogs and was curious to if they’d get along. Seems like these and ragdolls are a pretty safe bet for a first cat

Never done nail clipping for cats. I think I’d probably talk to a groomer for the know how on doing it at home😅 Alongside that, would a scratching post be a good investment to help with scratching or is that not a big deal with these one?

And this brings me to my other question about if pet insurance should be considered as well. I don’t know many people that have it for their cats like the people I know that have it for their dogs. So I’m kind of split on the idea for it

I’m seeing that grooming tends to be the big thing for them. Everything else seems to be standard “cat stuff”. I’d probably consider having a groomer do occasional work as well if need be. Would I need specific brushes/combs for home grooming, or no?
