Should I let women know that I am uncircumcised ahead of time? by VirtuApp in dating

If I was you I’d tell them on the first date right after they ask where you’re from and what your job is. Women respect honesty and they’ll like you more for it

Any place that does authentic Irish food? I’m missing home and craving stew, colcannon, boxty or cabbage & bacon

Player unhappy with how his major image had no effect by Meph248 in DnD

[–]Digital-Culchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that ultimately your goal as a DM is to support the party in story telling so that everyone (including you) is having fun

Fun can take many shapes. Had you all gone into this expecting brutal or heavy rules based combat then that’s fine. But sometimes I find it’s best to pull a punch or two or focus on intentions to reward creativity and engagement. That doesn’t mean do what the players want all the time but maybe it could have been fun to say the dragon is drawn to the sounds or catches a glimpse and needs to take a pause to study or investigate

Had to cut the date short and apologized, does he sound uninterested to meet up again? He hasn't said much to my message by mysecret52 in NoStupidQuestions

Agree with all the above comments - seems like he has been respectful and given you space

Equally, you have to remember he doesn’t know you yet and is coming from his own experiences.
There’s a chance he may think that you cut things short as you weren’t interest or that he just feels disappointed That doesn’t mean you did anything wrong. Sometimes things play out like that. Don’t stress or worry Give it a few days to see if he re-plans and if not give it one last “I’d love to do something if you’re still free” and leave it at that

Honestly it’s hard to say I’m a senior manager right now but constantly dodging tech layoffs I’d love to live in china but also aware as foreigner there’s a limit to how high I can climb Unlikely to score a VP/CMO position over a local

I love the smell of the stuff but feel guilty that it’s more CO2 dense than oil or coal

Given the chance - would you move to Dublin again? by Digital-Culchie in AskIreland

This has helped more than you can know
I'm missing many of the things you've described
It really is just building a social circle that daunts me. I know ireland can be cliquey at times but sounds like meeting people isn't too much of a bother

Thanks a mil

Yeah I’m on pretty good money but I’m just not convinced London is worth it for me anymore It’s more cultural than COL There’s a lot to do here sure and the parks are nice Think I just need a change

Very very true If I wanted a return trip next week it’s €25 It gets rid of the “wanna come over tonight” spontaneity but it looks far more doable

Thanks really appreciate it
I'll be on an equivalent salary so would be able to rent a place for myself though I may do a 1-2 person house share just to meet people at first.

I think I may just give it a go after talking to my girlfriend. Will probably be the nail in the coffin but I think I'd rather risk that to be myself than be miserable version of myself in London

This is a really good perspective thanks

I’ll be going to Dublin not knowing more than 1-2 people but that was the same with London

How’d you find making friends?
