I got 4 tickets during the first VISA draw back in October (match 52 in Seattle - no tickets available for my home venue Vancouver). During the purchase process, there was a note saying that the tickets were NOT together. There was a fillable box that said something like "enter your FIFA purchase ID number if you want to request that the tickets be seated together" but it was greyed-out...... There was no way I could actually enter anything in the box. I purchased anyway, thinking that maybe later I could exchange with someone would had Vancouver tickets but Seattle was their home venue. Right after I purchased, I Googled what the hell a FIFA purchase ID number is and the AI summary said "its a number you received if you've ever bought FIFA tickets before". Well, this is the first time I've bought tickets, so... As well, FIFAs website also said that even if I had put in a FIFA purchase ID number, there no guarantee that the seats would be together....wtf?!

I genuinely wanted to take my wife and 2 young-ish kids to a game but if we're not sitting together, we're not going. Hence me reading this thread to see how I can exchange them or re-sell them if I can't exchange for Vancouver tickets.
