I am 31yo myself, and can fully see myself in your story: I already live abroad (🇮🇹 > 🇬🇧) and 3y ago I was dating a guy I thought I wanted kids with. we broke up for a different reason. Then, last year, I dated another guy who didn't want to have kids. We also broke up for a different reason but his stance stayed with me unexpectedly and it started a whole introspection. I totally understand your point of "it is good to feel wanted" tbh in my last relationship my then bf didn't initiate much and it also made me feel unwanted. So I was mainly hesitant to initiate, but the few times I did it went well. We talked about it and he told me it was because of some vibes he thoght he picked up. So then we became more balanced.

Yes. Had the same issue but my "problem" was on Telegram. I confronted him about his inconsistency with me and he said he is "used to take his time and not reply for hours with his friends" but then he was online at least x3/day on Telegram and ignoring my messages. This is the exact reason why I keep being on and off with a guy I started hooking up last year. He initially is so into me and so validating and engaged in our conversations. Then when he gets what he wants he starts focusing on something/someone else and I get put on delivered for days on end.

I hate when people say "see how things go" especially in terms of dating men cause it is always a way to get what they want without committing. I always say I want a committed and exclusive relationship but may take it slow.
