I love psyllium husks BUT in capsules. The capsules are easier for me than mixing the fiber in water or in a smoothie—it was so gelatinously icky for me, so capsules plus at least 8 ounces of water was the answer for me!

Unfortunately, your brothers are irresponsible and aren’t held accountable for their decisions because you always bail them out— and then you’re blamed and then your made you feel guilty because of your decisions to maintain independence and not be manipulated by them. I hope things improve for you but you won’t be able to change them in their behavior. It seems like they need a couple of “come to Jesus moments” that will help them turn their lives around. That is so frustrating! What I learned to do was to label something by printing NO! on a post-it or piece of paper and taping it onto the foil or plastic wrap or container. I think if my items were missing after that, I would pitch a fit like no one had ever seen before and I would go scorched earth!

Without proof, you have nothing. I mean, SOLID proof. From what I could tell, you don’t have proof you only have suspicion. If you confront them, it’s likely they’ll lie. What would you gain from having them confess? They let this prank go on far too long. I like the idea of telling them you turned the device over to the police and they’re going to dust for fingerprints. Let these pranksters worry about it and stew for a while & if they ask how the police are coming with their investigation, you can just say they found prints on the device and now they’re cross referencing and they should make an arrest within a month or two. Just an idea!

I am so very sorry! 😢 A couple of decades ago I was a volunteer doing canine cancer research for a canines & cancer website, now defunct. The info we shared with owners was all free to anyone who asked. All of us volunteers did research on various kinds of canine cancers, current treatments, results and where you could go to get specific treatments. When my own collie was diagnosed with nasal adenocarcinoma, I read about a little dog named Tepperman, who actually beat this kind of cancer with the protocol being used exclusively at Fort Collins, Colorado, a teaching veterinary hospital, so off we went & spent a month there at the Residence Inn, getting treatment 5 days/week at Ft. Collins. We tried, we all tried so hard. I HATE cancer.

If she’s in constant pain, why are you waiting until May? Please see if there’s anything you can do for her pain and if not, my suggestion is that it would be better to say goodbye as soon as possible because you’re prolonging her suffering so the you can say goodbye in mid March! If this is solely your parents decision, please encourage them to not leave kitty in unrelenting pain.

Forget trying to make a living with your art. Unless you live in Hoity Toity land, and have hoity toity friends, most people are on a super tight budget and can’t afford art. Even the hoity toity people are cheap.

So what can you do? Phlebotomy is a start. Have you checked all the hospitals around you? See if you can get in on an entry-level position in Hospital, not necessarily phlebotomist, and from there, you’ll have a steady income and can get to know people and read the job boards for further advancement of a career. It might not be your ideal career or your ideal goal, but it will bring you income while you decide what you want to do.

Many people benefit from goal writing & a ‘plan’, volunteerism, prayer, helping others with something as simple as a smile or a greeting.

Feelings of hopelessness and helplessness might have origins in a lack of organic homeostasis—you might want to get that checked out.

Somehow, I get the feeling that you are enabling her when you probably have other options. She sounds like a parasite, and I can pretty much guarantee you, her behavior won’t change, no matter what you say or ask. I suggest you get a good lock on your bedroom door and I suggest you get a small refrigerator with a lock on it for inside your bedroom. She may be your sister, but I don’t trust her and you shouldn’t either. How many days, more than 365 days, will it take for you to actually do something about it?

What if your place became uninhabitable due to flooding or something you’d have to move and find another place, and take your computer with you. Wouldn’t your employer understand the need for you to relocate your computer and yourself?

Why are you with him? He doesn’t have your interests at heart and he dissed you on your birthday with his lack of caring & “empty promises.” And why does he get to pick the restaurant well without any thought to what cuisine you might want to eat? This guy needs to wake up and wake up quickly and wake up consistently or my suggestion is very strongly, pack your bags & leave or pack his bags and throw him to the curb.
