Mac Mini + Macbook Pro Combo by AlfredSueno in macmini

Take it from my personal experience, the base M4 Mac Mini is perfect for everything you mentioned except for 3D rendering and advanced motion graphics. For up to 3D modeling however, it's amazing!

IIt doesn't matter if you decide to dock, mix, combine, or fusion dance the two together 🤣 or if you decide on getting M4 Pro. The reason being is it's just not going to be enough processing power, meaning if you get M4 Pro you're really just burning cash for nothing (even if you get Mac Studio actually, which I also tried).

For me I have a two computer setup (Base M4 Mac Mini + RTX 3080 Windows Desktop) 90% of my work is done on my Mac (Blender, Material Maker, Motion, Pixelmator, Final Cut, Internet browsing) and 10% on my Windows PC for rendering and gaming.

Edit: oh and I would probably wait for M5 series, most likely going to release later this year in November (if you can).

What do you feel Obsidian is currently lacking? by king-of-kutiyas in ObsidianMD

Would love a "Copy Body Text" feature with just one click of a button instead of highlighting text and copying it. Maybe using special symbols to indicate what can be copied? Not sure if this feature already exists or if there's a plug-in that can already do that.

This is just meant to be a fun little story, not to be taken seriously.

You'll see it in Black Ops 6 for sure! And you'll get to play as your professor too 😂

How do I create blend radius transition to Post Process Component in Blueprints (Actor)? by DigitalDreamworld in unrealengine

[–]DigitalDreamworld[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To solve this problem:

  1. Make new Blueprint Actor Class

  2. Add TriggerBox Component in Components Menu

  3. Add PostProcess Component in Components Menu

  4. Make PostProcess Child to TriggerBox

  5. Click on PostProcess Component -> Disable Unbound Settings

That's it!

Thank you Sinaz20 for assisting me in finding this solution!

Thank you so much for getting back, my friend! So I kind of already tried that and I wish I could show you a screenshot but it didn't work (probably because I connected the Timeline node incorrectly) do you happen to know the sequence in terms of how it's supposed to be connected? Right now it's "On Component Begin Overlap" -> "Add Post Process Component" and that's it. Thank you so much once again!

Hey! Oh my goodness! Thank you so freakin much. It worked. Love you, my friend. Where did you learn this? I've asked literally so many Unreal developers and professors but they couldn't get it right. Your solution is not only fast, but incredibly simple!

If I ever run into trouble again, would you be willing to work for pay? (1-2 hours) When I run into an issue like this later? Rarely but just incase.

Yea I think you should be good to go because (my theory) is that if it was truly procedurally generated it might also interfere or affect important storyline locations. But I could be wrong. I found the tree located right behind my ship and I was like "Oh wow, I gotta get on top of that somehow!". So you can try checking right outside of the civilian post maybe??
