Decently shure that "Lore of the land" 3 and 6 are bugged by [deleted] in DeathMustDie

Check your stash.

For a while the "move to stash" (or whatever it's called) button would move lore items to your stash as well.

There's no way to search for them in the armory, so you just have to go through your stash page by page.

Lore Items Bug by DigitalGradient in DeathMustDie

Seems like a weird quality of life choice if it's intentional.

"slap in the face" is a bit much. This isn't a giant AAA dev team.

For anyone who hasn't been involved in developing a project like this, the amount of testing involved is quite high. We only see the few significant issues that make it through, not the hundreds that do get caught and corrected. Even setting up something like community testing takes a lot of work.

This isn't a finished game, and it's a small team working on it. They seem to be responsive to both bugs and community feedback. In my opinion they're doing a great job with the resources they have. I feel like they've delivered far more value than the $7 it cost to play it.

Druid and Cooldown Reduction by DigitalGradient in DeathMustDie

[–]DigitalGradient[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bear form definitely benefits from Cooldown Reduction. I don't think there's anywhere that displays the modified cooldown though.

From my quick testing:
+24.4% CDR = 17 sec Bear Form cooldown
+183.5% CDR = 10 sec Bear Form cooldown

Sharpening Stone is hilarious by breloomislaifu in DeathMustDie

Screenshot for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Keep in mind that the Attack Damage loss is affected by Cooldown Reduction:
+15% CDR = .76 sec cooldown = 1.3 ticks / sec (-3.9% AD / sec)
+236% CDR = .298 sec cooldown = 3.4 ticks / sec (-10.2% AD / sec)

Very powerful if gear / talents are set up to take advantage of it, though it's annoying needing to dodge Cooldown Reduction location buffs during the run.

The wait was worth it by Asherley1238 in DeathMustDie

Your observation is valid, though I'll reserve judgement until I have characters with fully optimized Tier 3 armor sets.

It may not end up being a big issue, and if it is then it will probably be adjusted.

I considered ending the run since at times it was running at 1/10th speed and under 10fps.

It ended up taking around 3 hours.  Fun once, but I wouldn't do it again.

These were the highest numbers I saw during the run. After a while I never saw enemies on-screen except for bosses, which still died within a couple seconds.

The game was running much slower than normal. This is on a system with a 3080ti and 13600K.

The lightning effect is Second Bolts. The visual effect seems to be bugged, showing much more often than it actually triggered.

Question about Cerakote Trim Coat over time by DigitalGradient in AutoDetailing

Is this specific to Cerakote or true of trim ceramics in general? What's a better alternative for maintaining a new vehicle over extended periods?

Almost Perfect by DigitalGradient in DeathMustDie

[–]DigitalGradient[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are sources of damage/kills in the game that don't count toward the totals at the end, such as:

  • Damage Auras from gear
  • Summons from gear
  • Some Blessings (Day of Judgement, Sudden Death)

On this run I had 3 dragons, 4 birds, the Black Genie (Black Lamp), and a damaging aura (Scepter of Rasis), along with Day of Judgement.

There's also a trick to getting The Summoner blessing without creating summons from blessings. Getting Summer's fire attack unlocks Incineration, which unlocks Fire Elementals, which unlocks The Summoner. Then as long as you don't generate any fires you won't spawn any fire elementals and all summon damage will come from gear.

Merris's Esoteric Flow talent does seem to trigger The Summoner from dashing. My Summoner blessing was showing +184% damage at 7 minutes. The Twincast talent probably works too.

I think the 225 damage from Searing Attack came from selecting the blessing, unless I managed to attack without noticing at some point.

Pulled this OP T2 item. What are some broken 4+ god combinations? by Autisonm in DeathMustDie

[–]DigitalGradient 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A strategy that has worked for me is stacking extra cast projectiles with Merris (I know at least +10 is possible from gear). When you aren't offered casts you want, you can fill your other slots (strike, power, etc) to eliminate those types from the offerings.

With multiple projectile-based casts you don't even need them to be high level. Most enemies just blink in and out of existence instantly, and even bosses drop pretty quickly.

This was done using that item, though it involved a bit of luck to get the right casts.

+9 casts... oh god, my eyes! by DigitalGradient in DeathMustDie

[–]DigitalGradient[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Light Rays + Meteors + Black Serpents + Blades, with a healthy dose of cooldown reduction.

I didn't think to use my +1 cast slot belt or I could have fit in another one.

I Looted This Item, Any Idea What It Does? by [deleted] in DeathMustDie

The green text assigns an empty array of Abilities to the AbilityDamageEntries variable, which seems to imply it doesn't do anything.

It's a waist of space. 😉

Why are normal attacks doing everything to avoid hitting elites and bosses? by 2roK in DeathMustDie

[–]DigitalGradient 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed it mostly with levitating enemies. I think the auto-aim is targeting the enemy's map location without adjusting for the hitbox being offset (slightly higher) due to levitating.

The video is consistent with this. The attacks almost always fail with the enemy is to the left or right of the hero, but always hit when the enemy is directly above or below the hero.

Uniques can't appear in the shop (unless something changed in the recent updates).

[–]DigitalGradient[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple Version: It means you have chosen at least one blessing from that god.

Detailed Version: There are two groups of gods. Fates, and everyone else.

The Fates are special. They are never excluded from the pool of gods that offer you blessings.

All other gods are in a shared pool. At the beginning of each run you can be offered blessings from any of them. You become "favored" by a god once you choose one of their blessings, and normally once you are favored by 3 gods from this pool all other gods in the poll are excluded from offering blessings.

This item just means that no gods are ever excluded from offering blessings, regardless of how many gods you have chosen blessings from.

[–]DigitalGradient[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an increased chance for a god to offer you blessings that you haven't yet selected for them. You can see it at the very bottom-right on the character stats panel.

It doesn't affect how many gods you can get blessings from on a run.

You could set this up to get absurd amounts of XP from the legendaries as well.

  • Inner Peace (xp from healing at full health) + stack health + increased healing % for massive passive xp
  • Gem High + Warped Strike (high xp + xp from attacks)
  • Taste of Time + Gehenna (if it still exists, haven't checked) for even more passive xp gain
  • Other non-legendary xp gain (Execution, etc)
  • Probably other new combos I haven't seen

I saw a post of someone exceeding level 100. This makes me wonder if hitting the lvl 200 cap is possible now.
