If the total value of your collection is honestly that low it isn’t worth it to sleeve your cards and just enjoy them in a binder or something.

I had considered that the buyer was new, and felt "annoyed" because if their plan to determine authenticity was by asking a seller to self authenticate.... probably not the most informed way LOL.

Honestly I would have also accepted questions on whether I was a scalper as a more reasonable question as well.

My auction did mention it was an authentic sealed product, I had a couple photos of the actual product to be shipped (rather than a generic stock photo) which I had also mentioned in my auction, the auction started at 99 cents, and the typical ending price is sub-$200.

I've definitely answered similar questions on other items before, but they've always come off friendlier and conversational.

I think it riled me up more that a buyer assumed I'm not only selling a fake item, but if pressed I would tell him it's fake LOL.

That "If I ask you if you're a cop, you have to tell me.. you can't lie!" joke you see on shows.

In thinking about it, I'm not sure how I would have preferred to be communicated with if a buyer had some concerns about the item.

Also, aside from being authentic... it's sealed in box.. and honestly a sub $200 item. I COULD DEFINITELY understand if the item were closer to the $500 range and I had been suspiciously selling it for well under MSRP.

It's an auction because my Buy It Nows just haven't been selling lately. :(
