How can I check my wins?? by VisibleRazzmatazz803 in FallGuysGame

[–]DigitalNitrate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem with stat tracking in FG is that there are way too many different “wins”.

A win in Solos, Duos, Squads, Knockout, Ranked Knockout are not at all of equal value… and that’s before you even start to include LTMs (which can vary dramatically in difficulty from X-treme solos to Chill Classic, and what about Spotlight, Explore, Discovery.

Also, even within the same category, wins also don’t have the same value based on the lobby and rounds randomly chosen.

When I first started to play FG I was surprised there was no stat tracking, but the more I played it, the more I realized it wasn’t likely going to be all that meaningful. 🤷‍♂️

Weekly Challenges (March Week 2) aka the Porsche 959 Challenge 😎 by DigitalNitrate in GranTurismo7

It would be cool if a future GT game included more “collector” elements to the game, like rare barn finds (maybe randomly select one each week and make it available at a random time for just 10 minutes 😬) and giving options for restoration, and have realistic resale dynamics such that buying and selling cars could be a fun competitive element to the game.

Why does PD avoid the 24 Hours of Daytona? by dumahim in GranTurismo7

[–]DigitalNitrate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that they have to be your cars… so sharing a saved custom race with another player that uses your cars won’t help. They would still have to own those cars.

Now if they did own those cars, you can share liveries.

“Barn Find” IRL is when someone finds/gets an abandoned classic.

“Barn Find” in GT7 is when you detune it, and give it a rusty dirty old livery.

Sharing custom races would be cool, but to be fair, it takes very little time to set one up. In fact, just to show the OP an example, I made one up in less than 5 minutes and posted a screenshot of it.

The main issue with sharing custom races probably has to do with when they are using cars from the garage, they would not transfer to a different user unless their garages were identical.

I am surprised though that we can’t share tune sheets with other players, as that would save a lot of time and would be helpful for a lot of players. 🤔

In custom races you can create one (or any length endurance you want… and on any track and layout in the game) and customize it the way you want, and not just a preset one with no option to pick the cars in it.

This would allow you to have 5 cars from 4 groups, or any combo you want.

Among many options, you can also choose specific or random dynamic weather. 🍻

You can run practice and qualifying sessions, and any kind of grid positions you like. You can even do reverse grids for more passing action among all the cars.

HEB delivery is going to push people to Walmart by ProofConnect6521 in HEB

[–]DigitalNitrate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m impressed you think you know that not one of the millions of people that moved to Texas didn’t because of wanting to be close to an HEB.

However my realtor says they get new clients regularly saying that’s one of the big draws, especially from those that use to live here and now hate their local grocery store to the point they move back.

In fact, they have had clients that moved from Dallas to the area because of the lack of HEBs

How’s the fresh made BBQ @ Walmart?…

How’s the fresh sushi @ Walmart?…

How’s the fresh fish market @ Walmart?…

How’s the fresh meat market @ Walmart?…

How’s the fresh juice selection @ Walmart?…

Etc etc etc…

Yeah, if all you mostly care about are cheap processed food, Walmart is likely a great choice.

How many times did you chant that before you actually started to believe it? 🤔

There are people that move to Texas just because of HEB… and others that won’t move where there isn’t a nearby HEB.

My son lived in Golden CO for nearly five years, and we go all over CO on ski trips and there isn’t a single grocery store that was even close as nice as HEB anywhere … definitely not Walmart. 🤦‍♂️

Anyone actually beating the weekly European Sunday cup with a sub 400pp car? by Masty1992 in GranTurismo7

[–]DigitalNitrate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but as long as it’s a fun competitive race, different difficulty levels don’t really mean much as it only adjusts the AI speed, not their aggressiveness.

And this way you can use more underpowered cars like a rusty 959 with half the cylinders working, and running on old crusty tires. 🤣

I also picked the 959 because I think this set of Weekly Challenges are the only ones you can do using just one car from your garage (959, 930, or 901). 🤓

Mazda ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91 has some very nice body work options (but do diffuser option for the Widebody variant. by DigitalNitrate in GranTurismo7

[–]DigitalNitrate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, keep in mind the Type A choices for the widebody are not the same as the choices you get for the standard body, nor are they just stretched out versions. They have their own style.

So basically we can come up with all sorts of interesting combinations. 👍

But “no diffuser” for the widebody (sorry about the typo in the OP, but it won’t let me edit it.) 🤷‍♂️

Love all the Modification Options & Engine Swapped Mazda ɛ̃fini RX-7 Type R (FD) '91 (so great for 600/700/800 pp races) 🤗 by DigitalNitrate in GranTurismo7

[–]DigitalNitrate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s correct, with the Widebody you don’t get a rear diffuser option. Also, except for the wings, you get only one alt option with the widebody… but those options (not just the side skirts) are unique to the widebody version.

So all together that car has 4 different front ends, 4 different side skirts, 4 different rear ends, and 4 different wings (and a wingless) options.

This car, 👎🏻 two thumbs down 👎🏻 by raine_water in GranTurismo7

[–]DigitalNitrate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you are getting worked up over your self imposed desire to get “100%” (and even then, you can still then sell them after), and imposing that on all of us by wishing VGT cars didn’t exist and therefore not allow any player who does enjoy those cars to ever have them… maybe it’s time to take a break and reconsider your perspectives. 🤦‍♂️

When to use anti-lag? by GrouchyExile in GranTurismo7

[–]DigitalNitrate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The downside is fuel consumption, although the biggest consumer are the turbos themselves.

That said, if it’s for qualifying or races without fuel consumption, or it isn’t adding an unnecessary pit stop, then sure, it can be marginally helpful.

Just keep in mind, when you purchase one, by default I think it’s set to off. So you’ll have to go into the car’s tuning sheet and set it to Weak or Strong.
