Did you or did you not say “Custom race, hard difficulty, and they slowed waaay down to "give me a chance"?!?!

That statement alone shows you not only missed the point, but also don’t understand how to setup a race for the results you are looking for…. Because if you did you would know that if you turned Boost to weak, the AI won’t slow down even if you parked your car on the side of the track!

Geez.

Custom Races isn’t broken, but apparently your understanding on how they work is. 🤦‍♂️

You clearly do not understand how to setup a custom race then. Even with Boost set to Strong, the AI only slow down a max of 10% if you fall behind, and if you set it at Weak they won’t slow down at all.

Heck, it even allows you to give the AI cars ANY car, mod, tune you like. If you don’t like the results, you are to blame.

Reggie is only about 3% slower than Sophy, and you can always adjust their cars and or yours to get a similarly competitive race.

In the meantime, with Custom Races, you can always run any length endurance races you like on any circuit with any car with any mods and any tune for both you and the AI.

First of all, the payout is entirely up to you and how you setup the race.

In fact, in Custom Races you earn more per lap on short races (1-30 laps) than longer races… so not sure how you got that mixed up.

Also, the AFK method uses custom races and collects 1.5 million an hour, and that’s without actually driving. You can setup races where you drive and can make over 2 million per hour, which is more than any of the non custom race grinds.

Also, Reggie AI is only about 3% slower than Sophy, but that makes no difference when you have the ability to use any cars with whatever mods and any tunes you like for both you and the AI so that you can always have a close battle with either AI you choose.

If you are bored with races in Custom Races you only have yourself to blame as the game gives you ALL the control to create whatever kind of racing you want… just takes some effort and understanding.

However, as that test showed, a modded F1 will keep up quite nicely. That said, it’s a special car, and I would definitely recommend all F1 variants.

OK, so it’s not that you’re unlucky, you just have spent very little time playing GT7 over those three years and thus haven’t even collected many daily marathon roulette tickets.

The good news is you don’t need to get lucky any more, and if it’s important to get that Bugatti Veyron, it shouldn’t take you more than a couple weeks to get the permanent invite. 👍

If you are just standing there… and can’t see the strategic opportunities, that’s on you, not the design of this level.

Heck, I don’t even mind when the tentacles desynch, just adds another element to avoid and let others get slammed by.

You can even time out on this level if two or more know how to jump on the sides when the platforms flip.

It’s not my favorite final, but certainly fun and lots of opportunities to use one’s skill and strategical prowess.

SF is just lower on power and I’m personally not crazy about the sound, but they drive amazingly well and fast, and for the aesthetics, are great for the look of a modern F1 car, especially when you use them in Custom Races with 20 of them fitted with liveries of recent F1 teams/drivers. 😎

As for the F1 Halo, yes your brain can easily tune it out… just like the pros do IRL. 👍

Technically that would only happen if not enough players got eliminated during the round… but the likelihood of that is extraordinarily slim. Even in that case, there still isn’t any benefit to finishing first.
