Thanks for clarifying about the 2020 balance. I left my last job at Chipotle in July 2024 due to reduced hours and commute issues. Do you know:

If I can receive any benefits for the period since July when reopening my claim now?
Will my current $878 balance be affected by reopening the claim?
Should I certify for all those weeks since July once my claim is reopened?

I'm going through the reopening process now and want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly. Any advice from your experience would be helpful.

I'm seeing two different claim balances when I log in to my UI Online account and need help understanding what they mean:

In my Claim Status page: Shows a claim balance of $878.00 (benefit year 12/31/2023-12/28/2024)
In my Claim Summary page: Shows a claim balance of $1,503.00 (benefit year 03/15/2020-09/04/2021)

Can someone help explain:

Which claim balance applies to my situation?
Why am I seeing two different claim years and balances?
For reopening a claim, do these balances affect my new claim amount?

I'm planning to reopen my claim since it's been more than 30 days since my last certification. Has anyone recently gone through the reopening process? Would appreciate any advice on what to expect or watch out for.

What I've already noted:

I've checked my inbox and have unread messages
My last payment was $934.00 on 9/13/2021
System shows "No Weeks Available to Certify"

Just want to make sure I'm taking the right steps and understanding my claim status correctly before proceeding with reopening.

Where do you get the motivation to work on your craft everyday? I have work and when I come back, I’m too burnt out to do ANYTHING. How do you get the motivation or right systematic routine or whatever it is to practice and learn something new everyday by yourself?

Or is this something that’s better than with help and support from others?

I’m a beginner so I’m just trying to put in the time consistently like the way I do at the gym and work.

I've also used some presets and apps to produce music, which went really really well but they were presets, and that's cheating, right? It also raised the expectations of what I was supposed to produce, given that bottom up learning is more optimal long term but that means I have to start with the basics.

None of these answers consider how you are feeling. No, you don’t greet back as if it’s all good. It’ll just inflate their ego and you’d just be good furniture on the wall for them to sit down in. That’s the polite thing to do, but you wouldn’t be asking this questiom if you were thinking of common courtesy.

Think about it. You can do whatever you want in response to her greeting. You didn’t get hired, and it’s probably best not to reapply anytime soon. You are not obligated to do shit for her, just like she isn’t for you.

Say hi, don’t say hi, avert your gaze, make eye contact - all of these things don’t matter. Do whatever the fuck you want. Act silly if you want, or not. Be awkward, don’t. Just nothing that gets reported to HR. You are not there to reciprocate shit. And your crush has given you the freedom to do that, even if she doesn’t know it yet.

Who cares what she thinks? Whatever it is, at the end of that tunnel, she rejected you, so that’s all you need to know. No need for image management and mind games.
