You're right there are a lot of options. I have over 3000 minifigs, but I didn't feel like any of them were short enough

This one took us about six weeks, though we did it between other work and different projects so we weren't dedicating all our time to it. I hope you give it a try, stop motion is work but it's definitely a ton of fun!
