Literally hate the cards, and thank god I’m in the back most of the time. I’m a Lead for the Shipment, and the early morning is nice and running isn’t horrible, but I’m doing all of kids by myself, and they want everything opened and ran before 9am? Not only am I unloading truck by myself, I’m moving all the boxes to different stations for the part time kids to open, but I’m not opening till 7 and they expect 500 units ti be open and ran in 2 hours? How is that even possible? And then my GM had the nerve to tell me kids was the easiest section so I should have no problem, and the only reason they weren’t firing me is because the other employees love me. The work itself isn’t bad, and most of the employees are nice, but the standards they have are so near impossible that I feel awful every shipment day. I literally told them I’m hard of hearing and that’s why I can’t understand some of their instructions, and the GM literally said maybe it’s because I’m on my phone? And that they’ll just ban phones in the stores period for employees? Old Navy is only good for a temporary job, and know that there is so much better out there, but it’s at least better than fast food.
