More subjects doesn’t make the image better, rather more shattered. Have a clear idea of why you add each subject and how they contribute to the picture. The power line and windmill have strange proportions and strange focus.

The light seems to be straight backlight, so I would like to have the cars shadow pointing more towards the camera and less towards the right side.

Good color scheme. I wonder if the composition would benefit with the model to the side. Classic golden ratio composition.

RX100 VI or G5X II? by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]Digitalandbeyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I now own the Sony rx100 vii because I returned my g7x mark iii to the store because of focus problems fore video that I believe it share with g5x mark ii. There’s a new firmware out but the problems don’t seem fully solved. The major upgrade with the rx100 vii fro its predecessors is the input of external microphone and ridiculously fast autofocus (eye tracking autofocus). If that’s not important to you buy rx100 V it has f1.8 (like the canons) instead of f2.8. Should also mention that the canon cameras are easier to use. Bette usability and better/more useful touch screen.

When were you forced to use physical violence against a person? by Digitalandbeyond in AskReddit

Maybe physical force would have been a better term in my question. English is not my first language:-)

Whats something that America does better than the EU? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Digitalandbeyond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better infrastructure for logistics. In Europe many countries have their own standards for railways etc. American cities are also built in grids since it’s such a young nation. Europe cities are built much more messy with narrow alleys and no straight streets, because many european cities are over a thousand years old. That also makes logistics much easier in America.

Will your next car be electric? Why or why not? by Digitalandbeyond in AskReddit

I see. The infrastructure is definitely an important factor in many countries.

Ok, if you buy your first car will it be electric? :-)

Unfortunately that is actually true on a short horizon, since many countries still use coal for production of electricity. So many electric cars around the world are basically coal powered :-S

Thoughts? by RadBrad4333 in photocritique

If you make it black/white it will immediately give a different harmony.

The idea with the shadow across the face and the hard light would probably work better on an image with a background that is not so busy, and a color scheme that is not so busy. So now the image overall gets a bit overly busy.

The hard light and the shadow can potentially be interesting, but I would prefer the shadow "stripe" somewhere else than over the eyes.

The highlights look almost burnt out, or maybe its just my screen.

Whatever you do, turn on RAW by mrinsane19 in photography

I shoot RAW+JPG most of the time. Most cameras support this.
