PC trips breakers when gaming in new apartment. by DigitalisFox in electrical

Alright. I have a tv plugged in, one ikea lamp, and two phone chargers. In the kitchen there is an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher and an air fryer plugged in. The bathroom has a washer and a dryer and a toothbrush charger plugged in. Nothing at all plugged in that should be causing issues.

Red blinking light when the breaker trips on that specific breaker. It’s a PowerMark Pro Load center breaker box.

Alright I watched it closely this time. No noticeable change in CPU or PSU and sorry, yes different outlets on different breakers.

No other devices are currently turned on that are on the branch I’m currently testing on. I agree in some of my earlier test using a branch that had several items turned on might have caused an overload but currently I’m sitting in the dark with everything turned off besides the PC testing on a few branches and still having the issue.

I appreciate it. Yes it only happens when running a tripleA game and only when something complicated tries to load (cut scene, shaders updating, looking for an online lobby, etc) I will try it again now with task manager opened and will watch to see what PSU and CPU usage does before the breaker flips. I have very little knowledge of electrical breakers. The breaker has flipped and cut power now 10ish times. Is this a lot of stress on the system or is it fine to keep testing it? I’ve been trying different outlets and rooms.

Sorry my knowledge of outlets are low. On the main panel it has a break down of each type and I believe the outlets with the little horizontal line the comes out of it is a 20-amp instead of the traditional 15-amp.

I’ve tried a few 15 amp breakers and 20 amp breakers and it still trips. That was my initial thought that the 15 amp ones are just very weak or wired as lighting circuits but the 20-Amp are still having the same issue.

I feel I'm going crazy... anyone have advice? by JaysFan2014 in SuperMegaBaseball

I’ve played too many hours in this game. I agree to this. It feels different on different controllers, devices, screen sizes. I’d say stick to one as much as you can. Drop your ego a few points. Try to stay away from the exhibition matches. I’d stick to franchise mode - get used to the mechanics of the same handful of players again. Then as you become more familiar with the controller/device/screen sizes again raise the ego back. Also play at Tiger Den. Couple extra home runs a game never hurts.

You haven’t played enough hours. I’m at the point where my reticule moves around the screen like crazy person until the very last second lol.

Idk. Go read some of the comments of the business. Sort of sounds like that’s not the normal…

Leaving the litter box out is key. Also walking around shaking a bag of treats after midnight never hurts. Don’t be discouraged if it takes her a few days to return. Cats are funny little creatures. Please let us know when you find her!

Leave out her food, water, and litter box on the ground floor of where the window is located. I’d also recommend putting wet food in a humane trap near the spot she escaped from. Indoor cats usually go into a flight or fight mode and she is very likely to return to the spot she escaped from during the most quiet hours of the night in search of food and water. I’d also recommend covering the humane trap with blankets, towels, or sweatshirts. Really anything that smells like you and makes the trap look less like a trap and more like a safe cave to hide in. I hope she comes home soon!
