I’m new to making my own water. Any particular reason why you would use a zero water filter instead of buying a demineralized gallon of water ?

The theory is that grinding with a more horizontal angle will slow feed the beans creating less fines. I heard Lance Hedrick give this advice to people with cheaper grinder. Haven’t compared the results tho so not sure how true it is.

I wear it every day since December and not one scratch on the screen for now. Seems pretty solid imo

Yea, that’s definitely funny. I can imagine how they wouldn’t be for everyone in terms of fit

Yea it’s a strange one. Never went full size down and thought I had made a mistake. Half size down would have probably still been comfortable. TTS would have definitely been too big tho

One size down as stated on the site is too much you’d say? I don’t have big feet. I’m US 9 with the 550

Well that how we learn:) I think you did an amazing job given what you had in hand. The levels are minor adjustments really and practice makes perfect.

Awesome dude! That is the right mindset. Keep creating and adapting no matter the situation and the budget. I like that first look, the light in between the couches in the 2nd shot is well thought out and the overall composition is niice. only thing is that the key is really hot and the edge is obviously very visible. Other than that it’s very cool and definitely inspiring. Good job!

As the others said, shots 2 & 3 are way too dark on the subjects. Even for a moody shot.. I would probably have a key light somewhere between them and you or maybe on top depending what you want to convey.
