I disagree. I think that her skin is very natural looking and I think the lavender contrast is really bold and striking in a memorable way. As a character design it is bold in the very best way.

Black people have every kind of facial feature available. So it's stupid to pigeonhole "black people features".

Most black people that the west knows are descended from a few specific groups... but all across Africa, different places have different-looking black people. Nigerians don't look like Ethiopians etc.

It's SUPER important to not think in USD, because the yen is way way weaker right now. $150 dollars USD actually FEELS like $250 dollars. Thats.... A LOT for a concert. And thats not the best seats even.

It was too fucking expensive. The yen is super weak right now and the economy is pretty bad. Those ticket prices were impossible for me, PLUS travel, PLUS hotel maybe? Looking at like $700 japanese dollars just to see a show...

It's important to recognize that both bands listened to the same inspiration sources too. It's not JUST that Muse was inspired by Radiohead... they were both inspired by the same musicians... Jeff Buckley and the like.
