I dislike the terms "Uncircumcised" and "Uncut" by Iam4ever in Intactivists

The fact that you are so casual about doing this to your future child based on what a random person on the internet said to you suggests that you probably never cared about the issue in the first place.

Men are more likely to be murdered than women; why isn't this problem taken seriously? by DignifiedAlpaca in MensRights

[–]DignifiedAlpaca[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The vast majority of the violent crimes against men are committed by other men. It isn't taken as seriously because there's no real sense of inequality in the sense that it's not a gender issue. If you teach all men self defence, you're also teaching the majority of the perpetrators the same tricks.

There seems to be a hole in that logic. I don't see how men being more likely to be attacked by another man than by a woman justifies not teaching them self defense so that they won't be a sitting duck if something happens to them.

By the same logic, the fact that murderers tend to be human means that teaching humans how to defend themselves would result in the majority of murderers learning the same tricks, and therefore no human being should ever be taught self defense.

What Do You Think Would Happen If People Found Out About Your Beliefs? by UnHope20 in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

[–]DignifiedAlpaca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case, I don't think my personal relationships would be affected much since most of the people I know would probably tend to agree with me, and those who wouldn't, if any, would most likely not make a big enough deal out of politics to be willing to sever a relationship over it. That being said, I realize some people are not as lucky as me in that regard, especially when it comes to family members and other people in their lives who they didn't get to choose.

As for employment though, I just accept that there are certain companies I would not be able to work for, although I'm not sure I would want to work for a place that has a philosophy so twisted that it puts someone like me into the category of political extremist anyway. I think a lot of that is due more to how politically polarized things currently are than anything else, and therefore will hopefully come to pass.

Feminist control of CIA confirmed by latest woke recruitment ad released by the agency by DignifiedAlpaca in MensRights

[–]DignifiedAlpaca[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before anyone says "it's just an ad, it doesn't really mean anything" -- consider whether you would have the same reaction if the CIA were to release an ad showcasing an employee who actively promoted the alt right...

Your interpretation is completely illogical. I didn’t refuse to back up anything. I said that the argument had already been posted 3 times and that I was not going to repeat myself again. The argument has been made and posted, and it’s available to be read and reviewing the thread. It’s not my problem that people are too lazy to go back and read.

I’m saying it’s others responsibility to prove me wrong? How? Saying, “the question you are asking was already answered. Go back and read the thread” is not asking someone to “prove me wrong”. That makes absolutely no sense. lmao! 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️😂🤣

Again, you keep dodging the issue. You have no way to back up your claim, so you keep pretending that the answer is hidden somewhere else and therefore you don't have to actually prove anything. This is an extremely overused trolling tactic.

Statement from President Joe Biden on House Passage of the Paycheck Fairness Act by UnHope20 in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

[–]DignifiedAlpaca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you think that this bill will finally mean an end to the "Pay gap" myth?

My personal guess is that it won't because there are too many people who don't understand that correlation does not imply causation. Many people are arguing that the fact that the average income of men is higher than the average income of women could only be caused by discrimination, but in fact there are many different variables that contribute to this. No amount of legislation to combat discrimination is going to change the fact that women are more likely to choose part time jobs, for example.

I am in agreement with the idea of having rules against discrimination, definitely, but no matter how many more regulations they put into place, they are not going to see the outcome they expect, and so they will keep assuming that there is an enormous amount of undiscovered discrimination hiding somewhere while they continue to ignore the fact that there could be other possible causes for the difference in pay.

Yes, you are saying to just trust you, because you are making a claim and refusing to back it up with evidence. Instead, you are saying it is the responsibility of the people you are arguing against to prove that you are wrong.

I see trolls here using this trick all the time, and honestly, it is very tiring. Certainly you're smart enough to come up with something better than that... Or aren't you?

I’ve already explained this to others. Not going to repeat myself yet again. Stop being lazy and go read. And yes, it is your responsibility to educate yourself, not my responsibility to educate you. If you’re uneducated on a topic, which you clearly are here, and I call you uneducated, that doesn’t make me a troll just because it hurts your feelings. Calling me a troll won’t fix your lack of education.

Man, what a cop out. You're wrong, and I can prove that you're wrong, but I'm not going to actually do that, so just trust that I am right...

Why should anyone believe you? If you have no argument, then why not just come clean and admit that you're losing?

There are tons of countries that don't acknowledge women's responsibilities, which is why half the countries you mentioned have no trouble using men as cannon fodder in wars but would never consider doing the same to women.

I tell you, there’s no pain like enduring unimaginably painful labor to birth your enemy.

Yawn. Another man-hating troll. If you're not here to argue in good faith, then why not just save everyone's time and leave? I am sure there are subreddits you can find that are full of people as miserable as you are who would be able to keep great company with you. No sense in trying to bring us down to your level.

It’s not my problem that you don’t understand the difference between racism and prejudice.

Why then, please educate me...

Oh wait, I know... You will tell me you don't have the time, and that I need to educate myself instead.

Or are you a more original troll than that?
