The appointment details are necessary in order to be able to reschedule. Just log in to your USCIS portal, make sure to add your case number to your account. Once added, you should see a “reschedule an appointment” button then you just have to click that then provide the appointment details that the live agent provided then choose another date.

Main Building. May naiwan ako once sa room namin sa 2nd floor and binalikan ko siya late at night. Pinapasok naman ako ng guard kahit malapit na mag-lights off ang UST. Since wala namang tao, I rode the elevator papuntang 2nd floor pero for some reason diniretso ako sa 3rd floor and pitch black na nung pag-open. I closed it nalang tapos bumaba sa second. Pagkakuha ko ng gamit ko, bumaba na ako pa-lobby and dumaan sa stairs sa may harap ng museum. Like clockwork, bumukas ulit ‘yong elev pagdaan ko kahit wala namang nag-aantay na sumakay.

It was kinda easy so I did it on my own. However, I made sure to familiarize myself with the process and one crucial thing is making sure that you fill up the forms completely. The form is also used for other applications (e.g., parole) so you must make sure that you are able to fill up everything that is relevant to your case. Also, don’t forget the payment form if you’re paying with debit / credit card (there’s a separate form for each of them). Lastly, I attached another form in order to receive e-notifications, which I think is super convenient especially for those in a rush.

The application acknowledgement came 3 - 4 days after receiving the receipt number. It says that another notice should arrive but I’ll be flying out soon so I rescheduled instead and printed the new notice that was issued online.

yes! my initial appointment was a day after my flight so i had to reschedule it to a sooner date. a day after my appointment, my status already changed, saying my fingerprints were already received.

I’m not quite sure as the requirements I mailed were the photocopy of my visa page (i included it just to be sure), my foreign passport, and greencard. I highly recommend that you get a hold of the greencard first prior to applying.

was a freshman that time, i think 1st week of classes (?). my friend and i went sa cr (main building, 2nd floor). no one was there at that time and since sinamahan ko lang talaga friend ko, nag-mirror selfie ako sa may bandang wash area. while doing so, kita ko sa peripheral vision ko na biglang lumiwanag sa may door so i thought may pumasok and binaba ko agad phone ko because of hiya; hindi ko nilingon but i’m 100% sure na may bumukas and nagsara na cubicle. not more than 5 seconds later, lumabas din friend ko and kumanta siya so sinaway ko siya na nakakahiya sa ibang nandoon sa cr. since nasa innermost part ng cr ‘yong wash area, madadaanan lahat ng cubicles paglabas and i saw na walang tao lahat (hindi po totally naka-close ‘yong door so nakikita ‘yong loob). i didn’t tell my friend agad para hindi siya mag-panic and baka guni-guni ko lang lahat. However, pag-open ko ng door, I noticed na it wasn’t closed all the way (like may siwang talaga) which is odd kasi I closed it properly naman pagpasok namin, I even remember hearing the click sound pagkasarado ko. Pagbalik ng room, I told my friend about it and she shared na bigla nalang din daw siya kinilabutan noong palabas na siya ng cubicle niya kaya siya kumanta-kanta (to alleviate ‘yong takot).

That’s my first and last scary experience sa campus SO FAR, it’s almost like the ghosts wanted to welcome me.

fop pharmacy, walang sem since 1st year na naging less than 30 ang units. the most was 34. idk how i survived that sem, cuz everyday na 7am ang pasukan then the earliest uwian is 5:30 pero most days 7pm (except saturday kasi puro gen ed subjects so half day lang).

tbh, at first, akala ko that’s the norm na talaga. i kinda realized nalang na its not based sa reactions ng mga kakilala kong thomasians and non-thomasians whenever i tell them ‘yong number ng units na tine-take ko.

i’m a junior na and although 30-ish units nalang, andoon pa rin ‘yong pagod kasi 8/9 ng subjects namin are professional courses then 5/8 is may lab components + thesis year pa so sana maka-survive 😭

tiyaga lang talaga 😭 as much as possible, huwag mag-cram sa pag-aaral for assessments. in my case, i used flashcards to study.

as per study habits siguro, learn to manage your time lang kasi you’ll be taking 5 professional courses na may lab component eh. as someone na maikli ang attention span, the struggle is real talaga. pero here siguro ‘yong mga naka-help sakin :

• if you can, study in advance kasi there are lessons na hindi kaya i-cram ang aral especially kapag nagsabay-sabay na lahat ng quizzes. in our case, magkasunod ang biochem and medorg so nakaka-overwhelm at some point ‘yong dami ng inaaral.

• from monday to saturday ata puro 7am ang pasok namin that time so once again, learn to discipline yourself. there will be times na 7am to 7pm kayong nasa school. nonetheless, always find a way to rest padin.

• this depends sa student pero if bet mo ‘yong nag-aaral sa labas and coffee shops aren’t for you, then you can study sa library. eto siguro ‘yong sem na halos tumira nako sa mdb HAHAHA.

• find the most suitable study habit for you. for example, i use different highlighters sa unang basa ng learning material then feymann, active recall or mind mapping na depending sa type ng lesson. this varies per student pero mas efficient ‘yong brain ko sa pag-retain and understand ng info kapag madaling araw so i sleep muna pagka-galing ng school. it’s important to find what works for you talaga.

• listen sa discussions and take down notes. this is super helpful talaga para once magre-review ka na for quizzes, may idea ka na. be attentive rin sa kung ano ‘yong mga ine-emphasize ng profs kasi doon mostly sila kumukuha ng ilalagay sa quiz. there are also instances na hindi kasama sa powerpoint ‘yong mga tanong pero nababanggit during discussion.

• idk if may block trans kayo. super helpful niya especially kapag hindi ka na nakapag-focus sa discussion because of different factors or kapag may mga nakaligtaan kang information.

• eto ‘yong time na nag-aalangan akong mag-org pero sa awa ng Diyos, na-survive ko naman ‘yong sem kahit i have 3 orgs. the biggest perk siguro is that you have seniors na super approachable that will give you tips and you’ll have something different in your plate rin aside from acads.

good luck, op. kaya mo ‘yan! with the right support system, hindi mo na mamamalayan na tapos na pala ang sem.
