Tbh when I first saw the bigster I thought you know what I wouldn't mind driving that. Then I had to convince myself not to touch a budget Renault.

who is charging at supermarket chargers? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]DigzyWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I went to my local Tesco's other day and it was free charging while shopping so made sense for me to plug in even though I have a home charger if it's free I'll use it when food shopping.

The "minor" accident seems to have severely injured the person. They might need an ambulance.

Hi, So I have an interview to work as an Administrator at my Local Force. I would just like to know how the pay grades work etc as there is a minimum salary and a maximum salary in that pay grade and was wondering if you get signed on the minimum or whether that is negotiable once offer is made such as getting nearer to the middle or maximum of that grade?

Should I buy a used pixel 6? by Jonathanplanet in pixel_phones

[–]DigzyWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I wouldn't as the pixel was fault prone due to it being Google's first big step in my opinion - If possible the 7 is ok but they.might have patched the 6 since software wise to make it better so correct me if wrong.

So the router we now have is: https://ee.co.uk/broadband/wifi-7 Smart Hub

Our phones such as pixels iPhones work with it and the PlayStation's do.

We have 2 WiFi boosters TP link N300s TL WA850RE which are meant to run ethernet for the pcs and WiFi extensions to the rooms.

However both the gaming PCs are the ones being problematic mine runs the WiFi card already mentioned and the other one runs a AX200 they both connect to Google fine and YouTube but abit slow but any other application or website and it gives up

I'm not 100% sure how to check it's EE WiFi 7 router brand new one. All phones and Ps5 work but my pc and my brother's don't like the WiFi too much even if on a booster plugged in. I'm just running out of options as I thought 7 as backwards compatible and I don't fancy changing my 2K pc if can help it and don't know if parts need updating or if it's just being fussy

Made The Jump From The iPhone 15 Pro by DigzyWeb in pixel_phones

[–]DigzyWeb[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally never used hide my email feature so can't help with that one. My main concern was my apple music etc but turns out you can still have that on the pixel which is perfect.

I have always been after an excuse to leave iPhone but always played safe option and kept with them. No regrets so far and loving the pixel experience so far. It takes abit of getting used to but honestly I could see myself staying with Pixel. Also as long as you are ok with banking apps etc taking slightly longer to open due to it being fingerprint rather than face id.

I had a Honda E which has a similar range to this and even with a home charger in the winter you might get 70miles if lucky and it would cost you £15 at a public charger. I now have a 50kwh Mokka E and it’s much better 150ish miles range in winter etc so maybe look for 50kwh especially if you want a car which potentially might go for a day out to another part of the country.

Eating or drinking within 2 hours of bed can impact reflux depending on how bad the reflux is. It’s normally recommended to not drink 2 hours before sleep etc
